Ave & Martin im so happy to you both for being a good parents to your unica Tokyo. As a parents only one thing that I could advice to you both always cherish the memories with Tokyo. I’m a mother of two daughters, but I’m not the one who take good care of them since baby because I prioritize to earn money abroad in order to give them good future. Through my absence I gave them material things in exchange of my real presence and love, but it’s not healthy as they grow up differently. Their attitude was really not acceptable to me. It’s too late to regain their love. God bless to you both. I pray that you will be there to take care of Tokyo always.

Hi Martin , i saw parents using the baby carrier, the baby's face position is facing the front to absorb air and to protect the nose from being " flat nose " while the bone is still growing. Not an advice just sharing. Parents knows best for t heir child. 👨‍🍼👨

You should have named your baby Philip or philippi (reminds you of Philippines) instead of Tokyo (reminds you Japan) or Philinor that's a combination of Philippines and Norway. This is just an idea in case you intend to change the name of your baby. Congrats guys you're a nice couple

Tokyo is growing up & will be awake more as she grows & only cry for her feeding time & sleep after …. Yes, parenting is a growing process & family is a great help. During my nursing I did breast & formula to do my Mommie & wifie routine, didn’t have help like (PI) has help with Nannie’s that are cheap labor. Out in Guam it’s expensive to hire help but it taught me to be independent & grow as a parent. I stop nursing my 2nd child at (8mos) & put her on formula only & baby food bc I had found out I was pregnant again yep ! I had a 5yr old pre-schooler, 8mos baby girl & pregnant with a 3rd child. My hubby was the only bread winner for the family. But with Jesus on my side as a praying wife God blessed us financially & lived a blessed life. My (2) oldest left & got married in the late 90’s. Unfortunately my husband & I got divorced, my youngest lived with me, then went on her own & I left to the states to live with my oldest daughter in (2005). I am 71yrs old.

Hello Salhaugen Family from the Washington,D.C. Metro (DMV) area! You all are doing a wonderful job. My Husband’s roots are German/ English, I am an Ilocano American and we have 3 children (now adults). We had our first born (son) in SanFrancisco far from our Family back east. We hired a Yaya who was an ilocano Lola. We payed around 2,000 a month back then. She helped us a lot. You and Ave remind me of our family and the joys of new parenthood. Here in the US having a midwife is very expensive & they don’t stay with you, they just come & check up on you 2-3days a week. It’s definitely the hardest job in the world being a parent✨🌷💥

Yes, Martin. Here in Canada, it cost $2,500/mo. To hire a live out help. Very expensive. Enjoy the life in the Philippines while you can. Life abroad with a family and kids is very expensive. Yeah it hard to travel when you have little one with you especially for a first parents straggles is real, been there done that. Philippines is a beautiful country but still a lots of Filipinos people don’t care about the ocean they need someone to focus and educate them telling not throwing rubbish like plastics etc in the ocean. Watching from Grafton Australia .You guys took me back to my memory lane raising my two children who are now 32 and 29 years old. I am a Filipina and my husband of 36 years is Australian. We have two granddaughters ages 6 & 4 years old. Raising children in Australia is so expensive too although child care is partly government subsidies but still costly.
