Well Martin, every time you show me something like this, I marvel at the simplicity; but yet, realize that nature is made up of millions of years of layers. If we want it to look natural, we have to replicate what nature did. Keep showing me these things. I'll keep learning! Thank you for the lesson!

Layers, Layers, Layers, that's what I have to keep saying to myself, I suppose most people stop too soon? Your results speak for themselves I just have to watch your two videos 3 or 4 more times to try and remember it all. Fantastic, Neil

I tend to purchase a selection of the small "sample colour's" of wall paint etc. from DIY store's..... Soooooooooooo I really liked your opening comment of the paint you use.

The Editing on this video was light years better than previous attempts!!!I was disapointed in about the last 1/2 dozen videos,because I wanted to watch them.The were so very jumpy and the video angles changed so many times I felt like I was watching you on a roller coaster.And I did not know what to say without seeming to be a troll.I hate trolls'.Can not wait to see the next video. Great tutorial! In the future I would like to see a video of you using some of your products. I have bought some of your textured grass mats through scenic express like the Wild brush weed grass and blended in into my scenery using your Type E and F weed mats. But I would like to see how YOU use your products together. I love your grass mats and weed mats they are phenomenal products.

Seems VERY REDUNDANT ?? Painting the Ground cover Over and Over with basically the SAME colors ?? Then DRY brushing it , And AGAIN Painting over ALL that you Just Did ? Weird , in my opinion . I just paint , texture then paint wash it ONCE then lightly dry brush ! All Done and looks AMAZINGLY Awesome : ) Cheers

Hi, This is the first time I have viewed your video and found it very helpful. One suggestion is to eliminate the music. It is loud enough to be distracting. You are far more interesting. Maybe use it only for the intro and ending? I completely agree with your technique about using layers and blending. One problem I have with dry brushing is that you have to load up the brush first then wipe away most of the paint for it to be used. That initial loading uses up a lot of paint. Do you have any recommendations on how to minimize the paint loss before its application? Maybe I'm using a wrong brush? I hope that makes sense. Thank you for posting this video!

Is that a stiff brush you are using? It looks good.
@MartinWelbergScenicStudios3 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, it's an ordinary paintbrush I use, cheap one with artificial fibers. Not that stiff but not too soft. I like to work with artist pig hair brushes to.

As in to loud for your taste or too loud compared to the voice?

Hi Martin, to loud compared to the voice. At least to me. Best regards, Carlos
