My wife and I saw Marty at the Lester Flatt celebration years ago. She was yelling hillbilly rock, Marty looked at her and they played it. She passed away in 17. Great memories!!!

The two young Black Males in this video are my some amazing Men. One of them is my Brother and they other one is my 1st cousin. I remember this video when it was shot in Nashville. My Brother is no longer alive to enjoy this God Rest is Soul. But my cousin is still here and have had a decent career rapping. Still with music which he still love we love all music. And hey we are from Nashville Tennessee home of The Grand Ole Opry. Sam and Quincy Johnson are their name's the 1st one's to do hip-hop dancing. In a county video my city has always been a diverse city since I can remember.

This is why I love Real Country Music So Much. I can hear Elvis Presley Singing This One. Marty Is A Rambler. I love classic country music like Merle Haggard, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Cash And many more all of those Country Legends. However, I will say this I think 90’s Country Music was something very special and I’m glad I got to experience it.

I am a rocker and as such, I never heard this song by Marty Stuart played on the radio and we didn't have any country bars up by me that might have played Hillbilly Rock. So, when I first heard this song playing just now, I thought it was Billy Ray Cyrus with Achy Breaky Heart. That vibe is in there to get your body up and moving. A great dance number. I was searching for Hillbilly Rock to listen to and this is not what I expected. However, it was a win, because I am glad that I found a new song and artist that I like.

I don't have a TV schedule in front of me but you can see him on TV, TWC (Spectrum) Channel 229. He has a half-hour show. It comes from Mississippi, and down in Alabam' Creepin' like a fever all across the land From deep in the Delta on the Louisiana shore The people got to have it, they want to hear some more It's the hillbilly rock, beat it with a drum Playin' them guitars like shootin from a gun Keepin' up the rhythm, steady as a clock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock Some say it came from Memphis down in Tennessee Or it drifted in from Georgia about 1953 Just as long as it's greasy, as long as it's fast As long as it's pumpin' honey, it's gonna last It's the hillbilly rock, beat it with a drum Playin' them guitars like shootin' from a gun Keepin' up the rhythm, steady as a clock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock Way back in old Kentucky where the bluegrass grows Through the Carolinas on them dirt red roads Burnin like a fire runnin' wild in the woods From Arkansas to Texas, it sounds so good It's the hillbilly rock, beat it with a drum Playin' them guitars like shootin from a gun Keepin' up the rhythm, steady as a clock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock So when the heat starts to risin' and you gotta blow some steam Take a ride down the river, you'll see just what I mean The juke joint's jumpin', when that cat goes on The whole place is shakin', there's a something goin' on It's the hillbilly rock, beat it with a drum Playin' them guitars like shootin from a gun Keepin' up the rhythm, steady as a clock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock !
