This was one of my dad's favorite songs, as he said this was practically written about him, and that my mom fit the song (she really did... she was even the manager/bartender of a Go-Go Club (that's 70's speak for strip club for those that don't know) where he met her haha.) They were married after only 3 months of dating in 1972, and he passed in 1999 after 27 years of marriage.

I was a bounty hunter in the 90's I found a lady bail jumper in a bar in downtown Muskogee Ok. she had no idea who I was, but she was there dancing with all the guys, so I waited and took my turn for a spin around the dance floor, this was the song that was playing that night, I danced her around a little and whispered in her ear, lets go outside, I danced her right out the back door, surprised her when I put handcuffs on her and carted her off to jail. this song always makes me smile.

That's not country what you hear today... I know, what does an Epica fan know about country, right? Well, I dated a guy who was around country...and not by choice lol! Pop went the same way as country with all the auto tune. GRRRR! Knew most of the 90s country when it was a rock-country hybrid. It wasn't bad at all, and it had a story to tell, I agree with you.

I saw them in Myrtle Beach when I lived there. My sister in law and I had a girls night out watching them and having drinks, dancing and just plain ol' fun!

So many great songs by these boys... But this one pointed out and punctuated it all when it came to good choices and basically drove my entire career in women at the end of them all... To this point we see here.

Good southern country music, back when it told a story. This new stuff sounds as if a six year old kid wrote it.

+obie adkins It's kind of funny to hear this, though. Back when this song was out, we griped that the new country didn't sound like the old stuff. lol (But I agree that the new stuff today is awful.)

This song has been on a loop (along with the thunder cats and Inspection Gadget theme songs)since I was 12 in like 1992... Just a playlist loop on repeat since 1992. PeeWee and Beavis and Butthead provide voice overs and the inside of my head never shuts the hell up.

I completely forgot about this band my wife & I were living on Franklin Rd in Marietta right across from Miss Kitty's in 86-88 when they were playing around that part of town cause that's where their from. Seems I remember them from Murph's off S Cobb Dr & a place down the street on Franklin they wouldn't have been big enough for Miss Kittie's then. Everybody listened to them then but music changed & we got older, shit I grew up with the Atlanta Rhythm Section in Doraville even went to 2 Champagne Jams & never listen to them anymore either.

Reminds me of all the girls I picked up when I 1st joined the military, I didn't love them all, but did love as many of them as I could. But they had to be a little on the trashy side or didn't any use for them.
