That, my friends, is how you cover a timeless classic. Bravo, Marty!

Marty is a treat! He slaps his guitar and knocks a string out of tune which gives him a "present" moment and he grins.

Thank you Marty. The often unused verse were new to me. Dark as a Dungeon is one of my favorite stories. For conversation, anyone know the pen who wrote this?

What to do with fifty some original gospel songs and not place to sing them. Put them all on this tube thing.

He's not a great singer, but a great guitarist and country entertainer. He also deserves great credit for keeping the golden years of country alive, and not giving in to the modern crap that dominates the industry today.

I have a job in a good country rock band, sing a couple tunes, people say I sound good on some things, play guitar mostly. I wish that I had the vocal skills this fine gentleman has.

Look at that old scratched up guitar. It will not even stay in tune when he slaps it.
