As a beginner I struggled to learn Jack Johnson songs.. his percussion strum patterns can be very difficult to get down. Underrated guitarist in my opinion.

Yeah he's one of those people that just breathes music. So like while nothing maybe super complex about his stuff the fact he's singing and playing is ridiculous. It's like "do I wanna know" super simple riff but it plays for almost the entire song and he's singing over it while playing. Legit feels like it requires 4000% brainpower to even attempt

Also I just got to say. Editing is so hard. Recording by yourself is hard. Man you high key actually do a lot of behind the scenes work. It took me weeks just to make one video. So thanks for taking all the time it takes to make videos. Truly takes patience and practice! Just like guitar does. You’ve really got to motivation yourself too, and that can prove to be mighty difficult!

@@braxtonbarnhill6817 you look up the exact chord he says on google and bam, if it’s a different voicing it’s pretty easy to search for a minute and find the right one. The chords are all fairly simple unless you haven’t learned some barre chord shapes.

Who's still here in 2024? Haha! Sometimes I like to play an A7 instead of Amin7 in the chorus! Adds this different thing to it 😁 That passing chord in the bridge is still Emin but with a D# in the bass! It's a little stretch but it sounds good if you can get the shape, as opposed to just playing the bass note. Thanks for the upload u rock bro!

Just a down strum then mute (let go) and the strum down again and let it ring
