For anyone having trouble with the D over F sharp, you can play it with your first finger on the 2nd fret of the E instead of the thumb and then you place your second finger on the 2nd fret of the G and your third finger on the 3rd fret of the B

Marty I found you. I'm an old customer from your DVD days. I guess that makes me really old - or maybe you:) HAha and I still have all those DVD's! Hey Marty - there is an acoustic version of cool change by little river band on the essential masters album. Would it be possible for you to listen to it? It's a pretty cool version for acoustic guitar. Can you throw a lesson on your channel here on it? That would be cool - thank you. RK

I don’t think anyone could teach these songs any better than you. I’m a beginner and you make these songs so simple to learn. The one thing I would love is at the end just to see you play the whole song all the way through. I’m not sure from all the starting and stopping if I’m getting it all in order. Is there a way we could see that with this song, stairway to heaven for sure because that’s like 4 videos of starting and stopping. These teachings would be perfect if at the end you played them all the way through.

Hey Marty I'm a big fan. I've learned the intro of this song from your other video, which helped me a lot. In this video however, there is a mistake - it sounds beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it's not the melody of dust in the wind.... While the C chord at the beginning matches the "I close" part of the lyrics (first bar, first verse), the "my" part (second bar) sounded somewhat off, so I checked the "official tab" (at least the website said it was "official", I think you know which one I mean ;-) ) and found out that they don't have a G Chord with a pinch on the Thick E-String and B-String, but a G/B (the same you're using as the last pinch of the intro) pinching the A and B String. The regular G Chord that you're teaching herer wich involves the Thick E string for the first time in this song is used after the two Am bars (with the first pinch of the frst bar involving the thin E String instead of the B String, when the lyrics go "only")

Marty, you have helped me more perhaps than any other online guitar instructor, so it is with great reservation that I would _ever_ critique your videos... But I have to ask, did you state in the first video (I've only seen this one) that this was an alternate method or arrangement for this song? Because this is similar to how the actual song is played, but significantly different than the original. Funny thing is, unless it were for artistic reasons, there'd be no reason to play a "simplified" version of this song because the actual version isn't any harder to play than the version you 're demonstrating here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to negatively criticize, I value your efforts to help guitar players way too much to do that, and indeed a number of my original songs would not exist were it not for techniques I learned from watching your videos... But I'm just wondering why the variation?
