raul Rolon i don't see why you would get any hate :). William's music is amazing, and it's just a matter of taste that someone think his best tune or work is this movie or this one or this tune or this one. for me it's close encounter and theme from sabrina (but so hard to not tell adventure on earth or ... ahhhhh lol) it's like choosing between two things you love, and here there are hundred of ones ! they are all great, just different ;), and some will like this one more than this other one :). it's natural it's music ! if everybody would love the same tune life would be so boring ! thanks for your comment raul !

I once met a 12 year old kid at the mall. He was humming this tune and I went up to him and said "Hey! You watched Jurassic Park?" And he was like "You mean Jurassic World?" Then I was like "No, the original." Then he said "I've never heard of it..." Kids these days missed out on a portion of they're life that they would never forget

This score was *not* nominated for an Oscar. Imagine that. (someone might try to argue that Williams was nominated and won for Schindler's List that year - however, that wouldn't have prevented him from being nominated twice in the category. It's not against the rules, and it has happened many, many times.)
@CosmosZeroX4 жыл бұрын
How is it possible that such a masterpiece of a soundtrack like Jurassic Park isn't even nominated for an Oscar???
@Lakhshamana4 жыл бұрын
@@CosmosZeroX Because JP wasn't really marketed as an award-winner. It's a summer blockbuster, designed to rake in cash and thus marketed as such. That the film was exceedingly well-made and would stand the test of time is just a bonus, so to speak. Oscars had always been about marketing the film right.

"Welcome to Jurassic Park..." I remember watching this as a kid back in the 90s for the first time. Man, it was absolutely amazing! The scene, the music, the whole setting was pure magnificence! Today I still get goosebumps when I hear this. John Williams is an absolute genius. Without him, some of our most beloved movies would never be the same. They wouldn't even have the success they have now.

If there's one thing John Williams has taught us, it's that he conducts great music. He breaks free, expands to new notes, crashes through crescendos, emotionally mabey even nostalgically, but uh... there it is. John Williams, uh, finds a way.
