*im a big Ford person, heck my entire family is, my dad has a explorer, my mom has a expedition, my wife has the 2018 expedition, my son has a mustang, and i own the 2018 f150 lariat. I’m in the market for a new truck and I’m sick of my f150 breaking down , i test drove this gmc 3 days ago and loved it so much that I booked it , it arrives coming Monday. I highly advise that you truck people atleast test drive this car before giving an opinion. This truck is legit. (Coming from a true FORD blood family) . It’s just that I’m too frustrated with the f150*

Thanks for the great video. Love.....LOVE this truck! GMC did it right on this one for sure. I researched Chevy, Dodge, Ford for months and even though they have some nice features, I kept going back to this awesome beauty. I bought one today. Love the extra 2" lift, unbelievable high-definition camera system, and the 6.2 Liter V8.

I like the AT4 version of the Sierra. Especially since you can get a 6.2. With the Silverado Trailboss 6.2 is not an option.

The only thing this truck - and the Trail Boss - is missing is crawl control. Can only chalk this up to oversight by GM considering both trucks are being billed as their "off road" truck straight from the factory.

You can push both buttons at the same time, but you have to remove any tow ball/ hitch or will destroy the tailgate

I hope they redesign the centrer console and make the display kinda taller and bigger because the small 8 inch isn't luxurious enough for a big truck regardless the software sys isn't that smooth sometimes.

My 2002 GMC Z71 has rear vents too. My 2014 Malibu has the auto stop but can't turn it off wish I could because you always got to wait a second after you let off the brake before you hit the gas.

Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can NOT even be ordered or does NOT come with the “power brake and foot pedal” adjuster.... Think about such a large truck without this option....If you have short legs, you have to move up the seat close to the steering wheel, which has an airbag in it. This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?

Usb C was a smart move. The tailgate and camera system is cool but more an expensive novelty. Backup cam with wide angle/vertical view is all that is needed. Overall great looking fully featured truck.

Yep, can't argue there. I picked up my 14 All Terrain SLT double cab when the new body style dropped and it was stickered at 42. That same truck now will be into the mid 50's. Manufacturers raise the prices every year now it seems. They do however...have way more features, better materials, etc so some of it can be justified.

Perhaps there was some air in the line or something on the one you test drove? Brakes feel the same as the previous generation to me, and haven't heard any complaints in regards to the brakes from any customers.

$63k no thanks, looked at an All Terrain in 2013 that stickered for $47k, went for a close out 2013 Sierra SLE cab plus Z71 4x4 5.3l, list $41k paid $23k out the door with 4 miles on odometer, have only replaced the battery in August, 18.1mpg in town 22mpg on highway at 75mph. It is a work truck, dirty outside and dusty inside, back seats removed and built a shelf to hold 350 lbs of tools! Towed a rental trailer to Pennsylvania and back with a car 5 times 1000-1400 miles in one day, 60 sheets of sheetrock, pallets of tile, 7000lbs of scrap steel both in bed and back seat, 3 trips to recycling in 5 hours totaling 16000 lbs, truck has yet to let me down. Still on original set of tires and brakes, just oil changes when needed, other fluids are fine according to owners manual. Have no need for all the tech crap which will go bad, don’t live in truck for more than an hour at a time around town, the long trips have nav and music on phone, my Apple phone doesn’t have cordless charging so a wasted item for me. Looked at a Ram Long horn 1500 4x4 for $53k with more equipment including panorama roof and 12” touch screen, 5.7l V8. They were offering a total of $16000 off, still my GMC is fine and paid for no need for another $500 a month payment. Oh did I mention Ram offered me $25k in trade for a 5 year old truck I paid $23k for.
