They described what's going on and usually don't spoil the ending. Except for Highlight videos, of course those You know what you're gonna be getting.

Actually I rewatched it twice, -- good game. I think it was more that Maru out-attritioned Hero and Hero started starving for Vespene Gas just after ~12:00. (You can see around the 11:00 mark, Hero has 4215/2304, has a slight economic edge, and army sizes are pretty even.) Then Hero burned a ton of resources (going down to 3310/575), then Hero made some mistakes including not being able to use Zealots effectively. If you want to see critical turning points or shorten the video, watch from about 11:00 onward...

Oh boy, this kinda shows how powerless zerg and protoss can feel fighting into a fortified T position. Thors just have no real counter (maybe the immortal a bit, but that one sucks vs bio) and ghost is the ultimate powerhouse vs both other races. Meh.

Zealots, DT's, Immortals, Void Rays, and Disruptors are all great vs Thors. Immortals aren't really that great vs Toss. Maru's just that damn good with his control. Zerg have a much tougher time than Protoss.

@@ZC.Andrew I disagree. Disruptors are good vs thors, that's correct, zealots and DTs suck. Melee units just don't have the surface area except in low number fights. Void rays are so-so. If the thors are accompanied by batches of marines, void rays are pretty bad and because they get outranged badly by thors, if they fight, they're all in. Disruptors can be zoned with ranged libs, as can immortals.

@@asdfasdf-mn8iu Well, I mean you said Thors have no real counter. They do. When properly supported by Libs/Mines/PFs/Ghosts/bio etc... sure, they're strong. But their main strength is their AA. You don't usually see pro's building Thors against Robo/Gateway-heavy Toss. You saw what happened to those Thors when he switched from Skytoss to his ground pounder army.

@@ZC.Andrew No, that's exactly the problem: BC and Thors are allrounders that are very strong vs ground and air both. Thors have supreme AA, but they easily hold their ground vs a ground army as well, especially if not specifically countered. It's not like you can get caught by surprise by enemy army comp with thors, the only thing that will hardcounter them is mass immortals. Zealots, stalkers, archons, tempests, carriers all fall flat vs thors. And in this game the thors mostly lose if they're up against much more army supply or in a much worse situation.

I'm not a good player at starcraft, but the protoss player, keeping goin n goin n goin on the same point over and over and over, without going on the side of the map to kill the south base for exemple, is not really efficient. After Maru....well it's Maru.... i'll never win against him for sure, but checking whats going on.....makes me annoyed

Sure, Maru is maybe the GOAT, but jesus, his games are so boring. I really don't like that ultra defensive, turtling, style from Maru and Serral. Aggressive players are more fun to watch. Dark, Rogue, MaxPax, Clem, Trap, players like these are always fun to watch.

I honestly love his style, it’s so interesting to see him turtle up, play the efficiency game and eventually whittle down his opponent. Really shows what the full capabilities are of Terran as a race. Its very different from other Terran players and it being unique makes it interesting. If this turns into the meta of course the games might be more stale, but for now it’s still quite novel and he’s one of the only players able to execute this style.

@@SC2HL Of course, Maru's (and Serral's) miraculous defenses and "never die" style is great, and there was great games, and he is one of the tenets of new metas. But seems that all his games follow the same pattern: 1 - If the opponent doesn't fall apart from a early aggressive attack, then 2; 2 - Turtle up, absorb all his attack, then grow to a 30 min long late game.

Is it just me, or is Terran too good? The protoss seemed really soft. If a dozen carriers can't do it, what can? Stalkers seemed like the best use of resources, which doesn't seem right at all. Also, do ghost's have EMP? That's interesting, but maybe too efficient. The nuke seemed underpowered. And medivacs should only heal what's inside, obviously.

they literally said hero didnt have the right comp, either too many tech units or too many tier 1 units. I do have to agree though that protoss is in a rough spot. Not certain if it is because there aren't many very good protoss players (just creator looking like he might become a beast) right now or that protoss needs a buff for the highest level.

@@makuntizichi7148 high tier units should basically always outclass lower tier units, but diverse compositions should be best. It just seemed like everything he had was bad. Zealots, immortals, archons, etc. They all seemed basically ineffective. I didn't really see anything that Maru did that was better than the other player, it seemed like one team was just better than the other. Also, the way the marauders we're able to clean up at the end seems suspicious. It's somewhat unrelated, but I wonder if Terran units should burn down when they get into red HP? I was thinking that was what happened just like the caster said. 🤣 I just noticed your name.
