Es muy respetuosa con su estudio y partitura. Seguro que le habría gustado, especialmente porque no usa los pedales en ningún momento.

@@gorkythe45 J.S. Bach definitely played a pianoforte, in fact he sold them on behalf of one of the earliest makers Gottfried Silbermann “The improved Silbermann pianos met with Bach's "complete approval" ("völlige Gutheißung"), and indeed a preserved sales voucher dated May 8, 1749 shows that Bach acted as an intermediary for Silbermann in the sale of one of his pianos” en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottfried_Silbermann
This is Bach by Martha Argerich. The moment when the BWV826 Rondo changes to Capriccio gives me goosebumps. It was a knockout just by hearing it once, and it was a moment that easily transcended the limits of words. J.S Bach x Argerich This is the pinnacle of collaboration. J.S.Bach - Partita No.2 c-moll BWV.826 Capriccio J.S.Bach - Partita No.2 in C Minor, BWV.826 [Capriccio]
Martha Argerich est une musicienne exceptionnelle.

I’m speechless. I thought my absolute favorite recording of this was Gould’s own... but she adds another dimension, one of light playfulness and joy, without losing any of the clarity. Just astounding. Love her.

This performance is so full of energy! Bach's compositions have always intrigued me when performed on any musical instrument. I must say that I have rarely if not never heard Bach sound as great on the piano as when Martha performs this Partita. Whether this is how Bach intended it to sound or not, this interpretation is the one I want to believe the partitas were composed to sound like. Martha Argerich thank you for existing you are a great source of inspiration!

She has matured so well. I mean, she's always had a powerful attack, but she is bringing so much more to performance than simply a desire to stand on the manual. Her accents are so much more thoughtful, and have a way leading the listener to all sorts of places on their own, making her dynamic choices all the more meaningful. Well done.

This Partita is the first piece of music I ever heard her play live, on 25 April 1979. The date is still etched in my memory.... she was so phenomenal: the sheer energy, the vitality, the speed, the virtuosity, but also her pianissimos.... I'll never forget it, along (among many many highlights I hasten to add!) with Sviatoslav Richter playing Bach English suites and Leonard Bernstein conducting Mahler 4. These are the memories I cherish most...
