You nailed it in your verdict, Bunny ! Today's customer is very price and feature conscious and a mere Toyota badge makes no difference to the private car user. Another good example is the Hyryder. Being a Toyota powertrain and technology, yet, the GV Hybrid outsells the Hyryder !! Despite the fact that the Hyryder offers a longer warranty period (same on the battery, though) and the Hybrid is available in 3 variants of the Hyryder, whereas it is avl in only the top two (Zeta & Alpha) of the GV. The max sales of the Ertiga is the Lxi variant, from yellow plate users, which explains why the Rumion has less takers. The XL6 is definately a better looking car than the Rumion at a similar price.

It was a nice honest comparison. Thank you. Most important thing while buying a car is the RESALE VALUE. If the resale value is good, the Bank Loan for buying a car becomes INTEREST FREE.

Ive Ertiga 2019 model and ive driven 46000 km Except built quality everything is good Gear box 9/10 Steering feedback 5/10 Space 9/10 Comfort 8/10 Boot space 9/10 Engine performance 8/10 never found under power Milage 13 kmpl in city and up to 19 on Highway Maintenance around 8000 per year Service center experience 8/10 Built quality 4/10 Very poor (outer body) Interior design of Top model 8.5/10 Value for money 9.5/10 Resale value 9/10 All of these are WRT its price

That’s why we buyed ertiga zxi plus manual in April 2024 ♥️ love that car and just want to clear that we got ertiga in just 1 month and 8 days and it is not that much according to me

I do not know much but Waiting time may depnd on two things in this case 1. Maruti will delay up the offerings to toyota so that maruti sells more units 2. The manufacturing capacity of two companies might be different .. eg. Lets say Maruti can produce 10 units in a day while toyota has capacity of producing 1 unit.. so there might be more waiting

If Rumion is less available, then resale value should be high, why it will be less, what is the logic. If new car is cheap and easily available then it's resale value is less. So, Rumion is better to buy the real reason not told, Rumion is having 5 star safety rating while Ertiga has only 3 star safety rating. Is your safety cheaper than 2 lakhs rupees?
