bad reviewer....these engines provide more than adequate performance and they are more fuel efficient too. Maruti engineers are certainly master of tuning their cars as per req. a solid reliable product from Maruti..go for it!

this is my next car it is as good as the city but city is pricey and too much insurance and maintenance costs maruti ciaz will beat it i hope cvt automatic gearbox on zxi plus in petrol awesome car

Most people want reliability,value for money and ease of after-sales service. Most Maruti models are best-sellers due to that. If Ciaz delivers on that,performance figures,engine sizes.looks etc etc are secondary for majority of buyers.

The car looks great. much studier and well proportioned than the verna... and with smoother curves than the edgy honda city. definitely the best looking car in its class (dunt even talk about the vento with its bland looks). dunt know how it drives but looks like a great attempt and product for the segment it will be put in.

what a pathetic comment. I am sure you haven't driven the new city. Test drive one and you will see what Honda is. This car is a shame. In this segment this car has the worst interiors. Another jerk from maruti. And how in the world you could compare it with Verna which is 3 years old now but still has better torque and ps and interior look very well appointed. Maruti has been making shitty cars - only ppl who eat drink and sleep over mileage buy marutis.... I bought a New Maruti Ciaz .From the very begining i noticed something strange i went to the dealer for 1000 km servicing and told him about problem he also noticed even head mechanic also diagnosed this problem has a suspension problem. this defect comes even in new car tested in Bonds ,I would like to have your Views ,advice and support it could be i am the only one who have seen this . The agency tested a new car in bond revealing to have same problem even several cars had the same problem ,We querried with our local dealer but the replied that Maruti Suzuki has replied it already 2 months ,Can have the right person that help

vicky vickash even i bought ciaz top model shvs 10 months ago even i found same problem...like after 1000 km my car right suspension gave weird noise like when it go in potholes n speed breaker but when i went to dealer he fixed it by tighting the screws of suspension n it happened even again after 3 months then its being almost 10 months droe like 9000 km n same sounds is coming ..i think i hae to ask him to tiht again...but overll car is awesome...awesome pick up , accelaration, milage ..i love it...n features...n it hve more comfortable than negative points...n also engine has got awesome power...touched 196 on highway..

though verna have 1.6 but ciaz can beat the verna easily with 1.3 i have tried myself my brother owns verna n we raced a mile n ciaz had more pick up than verna

just looking it this car I felt like looking at a badly made linea. The front grill looks ugly. People just stop this review right now and get a honda city and if you are in to european cars buy a linea. The one with the new engine drives like a dream. Maruti get your act together otherwise this is another flop model in the making.
