s-cross is one of the best cars from suzuki with a solid built and a great suspension. Feels more like a european car than a japanese. It also shows why people dont prefer to buy premium cars from suzuki. 1) Not so competent engine especially against the 1.5 i-vtecs from honda, 1.0 turbo from hyundai, volkswagen 2) Interiors does not feel premium with common parts shared from lesser cars. 3) Outdated 4-speed torque converter from the 1980s when competitors offers 6-speed torque converters, 7-speed DCTs and CVTs. Suzuki is playing the value for money game here as well. People consider suzuki as a cheap brand making cheap cars. They have exited the biggest markets like USA, China. They have very less market share in europe. India is their main market now. They are now giving below par cars for India with tinny build quality. Suzuki will follow Sony, Nokia, Blackberry and will vanish if they don't innovate.

Hi Najeeb, scross has ESP as you mentiined, but there us no mention of traction control system. Tata Nexon has TCS from lowest varient. What advantage does tcs has in addition to esp?

എനിക്ക് പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പെട്രോൾ കറുകളോട് താൽപ്പര്യം ഇല്ല. മാരുതിക്കാണെങ്കിൽ സ്വന്തമായി ഡീസൽ ടെക്നോളജി ഇല്ല എന്ന് പറയാം. ഇതുവരെ മാരുതി കാറുകളിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത് ഫിയറ്റിന്റെ 1.3 ലിറ്റർ 4 സിലിണ്ടർ ഡീസൽ എഞ്ചിൻ ആയിരുന്നു അത് ഒരു BS4 എഞ്ചിൻ ആയിരുന്നു ഫിയറ്റ് ആണെങ്കിൽ അതിനെ BS6 ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുന്നുമില്ല അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് മാരുതി ഡീസൽ എഞ്ചിൻ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഏല്ലാ മോഡലും പൂർണമായും പെട്രോൾ വാഹനങ്ങൾ ആക്കിയത്. (മാരുതി സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു 1.5 ലിറ്റർ 4 സിലിണ്ടർ 94 BHPഡീസൽ എഞ്ചിൻ 2019 ൽ വികസിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു കേട്ടോ, പക്ഷെ അത് NVH നിലവാരത്തിൽ വൻ പരാജയം ആയിരുന്നു പിന്നെ അതൊരു BS4 എമിഷൻ ഉള്ളതും ആയിരുന്നു )
