🔥HOT TAKE🔥 -Rogue’s introduction to the MCU should have her being told by someone to take Captain Marvel’s powers like in X-men 97. This would solve two problems- 1. fans aren’t a fan of Brie Larson, so killing her off would make more sense than her just disappearing. 2. Rogue will have more powers than she did in the original movie series and can do more in these movies

I'm not the biggest Comic Book fan but I do really enjoy the stories in the MCU w/ the Avengers, Spidey, X-Men, etc. etc. but sometimes it's too much to keep up w/ ALL the spin-offs and side projects!!! Having said that I'd love to see more of Wanda Vision and I also really enjoyed Luke Cage as well......

Jessica Jones was literally some of the worst television I have ever watched! It was so bad, I didn't even watch Luke Cage. The writing and acting was atrocious!

I disagree. I found it to be different and a welcome change to some of the other horrible stuff that the MCU has put out. It did jump the shark a few times, and dragged on a bit at times. Iron Fist on the other hand, was unwatchable. ​@@brookin

I’d enjoy an evolution to MAOS with Marvels Agents Of Sword with this being the series that characters from all levels can come together for big crossover events especially the street level heroes. They can do like 3 episodes arcs each season switching out the roster of heroes spending time with heroes all around the globe

If Marvel really wanted to lock in a solid inaugural film of the Sam version of Captain America they could have spent the extra dough to get the Russo Bros who had nailed the prior films in this series. If they had their hearts set on going all the way with Black identity for Sam's story, then Coogler was the obvious choice over Julius Onah who is a noob in this genre.

I really wish they’d stop doing these phase timeline presentations. They never stick and it’s just adds credence to the MCU criticism of just being a “perpetual hype engine” (meaning everything just hypes the next thing never culminating into anything of significance, just more hype)

They have been doing this since the very beginning. Most studios do this, it’s just magnified with the mcu. There is no stopping the hype or criticism train. As long as a trailer is released. There will be criticism or hype. As long as there are plenty that get turned off for any character that’s not a white male, there’s always going to be heavy criticism. There will always be heavy critism regardless if it’s for the right reasons or not.

I know there are reasons to refute what I’m saying, but it seems like almost every project coming out from Marvel is splintered off from something else and things are just getting smaller and smaller and are just splinters off of something. Aside from the Fantastic Four project, which still seems to come off as something “less” than I would expect it to be, there’s just not anything truly grandiose in Marvel’s plans. I don’t see anything with the gravitas of any of the 4 Avengers movies on the horizon. There are plans perhaps, but every plan they’ve had has usually changed before actually coming out.

I think that splintering issue is kinda priced into the whole franchise. You can see it happening in the comics as they string out the characters; it branches out like a tree growing, and you can watch fads and fashions come and go. Hence in the 70s you got a whole bunch of women characters like She Hulk, Ms Marvel & Spider-Woman. It is a bit like Xeroxing a Xerox though; there's a law of diminishing returns that the company has to invest (in imaginative creators) to counteract. My biggest concern is that the MCU needs to value its writers more. Like, Wanda Vision was really inventively done, but it's the exception not the rule. Sam Raimi brought real horror storytelling experience to Multiverse of Madness; that was another high note. But Wakanda Forever and Black Widow - both of which I liked but didn't love - are more typical: the plotting is quite formulaic.

The one thing i think the mcu should steer clear away from is comedy. They lucked up with Thor III using a lot of humor but we see how that backfired the next movie. Ant-man gets by, but Paul Rudd is a funny guy and for some reason, ant-man I & II were similar mid or B level movies but it was only a problem for ant-man III. James Gunn is not here to make sure GOTG is funny. So moving forward it would probably be best if they just stop with comedy.
