I haven't read any comics for a while now, (so I don't know if this was done in the comics already) but "casting" Blob as Famine and Toad as Pestilence is surprisingly thematic, lol!

Thanks for the game! Definitely Servants of Apocalypse is a brain overload faction, before you consider the dice. Managing Evolution tokens looks to be a big deal. First One targeting Death to get three more tokens to help Apocalypse’s bonus activation seems neat. Apocalypse does seem a little squishy, making me want to bring a bodyguard, just to up his survival.

Apocalypse as a splash is an interesting option, and one I want to explore. He seems solid enough to not need the Horseman powers or evolution tokens, but I am curious if he will feel a bit pillow fisted without them.

@@AegisbrandStudios Yeah I wouldn't want to splash him into any roster that doesn't focus on conditions as their main gimmick, but he just fits so nicely into Baron Strucker Hydra, at least in terms of what you're trying to do with them. Time will tell if he's worth it :D

I think the root status condition on Blob was forgotten all game. He kept using Ha Ha that tickles for 1 power while being rooted.

Weird question, but what paints did you use to get the layered tones on Blob? I'm painting some Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and Blob's skintone is exactly what I'm looking for.

I do not recall the names off hand, but they were the skin tone trinity of paints from the first wave of Two Thin Coats

I think Wolverine actually did KO Cable? When you did the math you miscounted 5 instead of 6. But more relevantly you forgot the two dice you rolled for crits outside the box on the side. Meaning you hit him for a massive 8, with the 4 from fury also. Even with the big block, it was still massive. Which could have massively changed the outcome. Because it would have stopped Cables entire turn.

So, right now, uncertain. We will not get an actual answer until the proper release of apocalypse. We tried to be consistent in how we treated it (though we did have a gaff on it). Right now, I am trying to play it as you lose access to it, but there is an argument that they stay in play

Once you have the horsemen cards out. They stay in play even if the hero’s are Ko’ed. If apocalypse gets ko’d you lose the genetic pool card though

Yeah. I was not terribly impressed with Wolverine as War, though he did not have a great chance to shine. Same with Psylocke. I did really like Blob and Toad, though.

@@AegisbrandStudiosYeah I really like Sabretooth as War. Psylocke has done pretty well for me as Death, but after some testing I think Death is the first horseman power I cut now. I think my favorite death horseman is toad. Toad runs away with an extract and they have to chase him down and give you evolution tokens if they catch him and take him down.

I think I agree with you on Death. That power feels a lot more narrow, and the least available power to use. I should try it on Toad.

Thunderous Splash from blob has a wild trigger called explosive force. This pushes other characters, and characters pushed this way suffer 1 damage

The tokens are from buythesametoken. I absolutely love them! As for the mat, it is one I borrowed from my LGS, so I am not sure where it was sourced from, sadly. If I can find out, I will respond here

Pay 3, and heal 2 damage to each allied character within R2, including Apocalypse A Reactive ability. Pay 2 during the modify dice step when Apoc is attacking or defending. Both attacker and defender reroll all dice

It's not as bad as it seems. It is quite literally all the leadership does, and it limits you to playing 5 characters (Apocalypse and all 4 horsemen) and if you don't you're basically shooting yourself in the foot

You are not wrong, sadly. I only used them in a handful of games, and have gone back to the red dice, as they are far more readable on camera. I just wanted to make sure I plugged Will's dice
