One piece of constructive strategy for Rain (spelling? So sorry): having played into Webs quite a bit, you are typically better off hitting with mystic and turning off those spider sense rerolls / martial artist than plinking with physical attacks. I’m thinking specifically of the series of Throwing Glaive attacks from Blade against Spider-Woman. Granted, Blade’a throwing knives gain 1 power and can move him forward. But I think the math creates better opportunities for your dice to get in close and turn martial artist off with his mystic katana. I’ve seen my own spiders start squishing when mystic pierce attacks start rolling in! Just some hopefully constructive thoughts! Thanks for the battle report, as always.

Good point I didnt think of that while I was watching this, I like playing blade and there are quite a few webs players in my local area at present!

I think he got a bit tilted by some dice rolls, and ended up missing some interactions that could have been a little better for him. Happens to the best of us. Ironically, my record against him on camera is great. Off camera, Rein has mopped the floor with me a number of times

I was originally really high on Blade, when he released (as a evidenced by my visit on the House Party Protocol pod for his discussion). Sadly, he has not kept up with the times
