What a fun game! Thank you very much for making this one. Spider-man is my favorite Marvel character, and therefore his enemies are my favorite villains. I was really happy to see this game. I have comments, all of which are positive. 1. I really appreciate you calling out the rules you deliberately broke. You told us up front about ignoring the alias rule and the threat level. Plus, later in the game, you used two range rulers at once and told us that you know that was not legal. That's honest *and* helps viewers follow what's happening without learning the wrong rules. Well done. 2. I am a 99% rules-follower. I don't have the courage or belief in myself to think that I know how to bend or break rules without breaking the game. That said, I really like the idea of trying new things outside the bounds of the rules. It's a conundrum, so I was glad to watch you do it. It let me live vicariously through you. Plus, it leads to a game like this that really, really feels like a comic book. The colors, the characters, the cards (spider infected!) really make this game feel like a comic. Thank you! 3. I enjoyed the "shocking" references in the game. I love bad, bad jokes like that. And I'm not even a dad. So, that was cool. Thanks again. A question: Did you find any odd or difficult situations that came up specifically because of your choice to ignore two core rules? Not a criticism. Just wondering in case we opt to do the same here. I love this so much. My friends and I homebrewed a tactics card so that you could bring multiple characters with the same alias (as long as they're web warriors affiliated). Always love people bending the rules to have fun with the game

On the other hand, you get a power from the camera because of the damage of the throw that I think wasn't accounted 😅

sand constructs reduce physical damage by one when they suffer damage, so the impact webbings that dealt 2 damage to them should have only dealt 1, keeping the grunts alive.

other than that and other comments, I am very happy to see spider foes get some gameplay so fast. I had a blast playing sandman and electro for the first time, and cant wait to play them more.

I think Troope got a bit of information overload on this one, dealing with 4 new characters. I definitely had the easier side of things. I plan on bringing them back for another report in the new future, for sure

Sandman being my favorite character made it easy to commit his card to memory very soon after it was revealed, but to digest all of that at once is a bit much. Looking forward to seeing some more in the future. I can't wait to try Sandman under Klaw personally.

I was under the impression that when a character that has grunts they begin play with them in play. Why do you guys only start with one sand construct in play instead of both?

Because you only ever start with one in play. It is covered in the grunts appendix in the core rule book

@@AegisbrandStudios yea i think this probably needs an FAQ as sandman's card gives an exception to this rule. Either way, its a great, thematic mechanic!

Unless AMG intends to make an allowance, no FAQ or Errata is needed. In the grunts appendix, it is pretty clear that when a parent character is deployed, it may deploy 1 of it's grunts along with it.

The spider foes have some cool synergies with the sand constructs and electro/vulture mobility. Hope to see them work out in the future! Microphone for Leland was a little off.

Great game. The Masked Menace card really proved its value in this game. I know some people are on the fence about it.

It can definitely be a miss, if not set up for it, but when you think about how many ways you can actually, potentially, damage opposing characters, it gets kind of nutty
