Great breakdown overall. Final list makes a ton of sense, appreciate the in depth run thrus. Looking forward to the 4 threats.

I think Spectacular is A Tier just because of how controlling he can be and currently how important extract play is with spider sense and Web swing

Weapon X does have a very solid place in dark dimension. You send him in to an enemy point with the intention to do damage and die, and revive him at the end of that turn to do it over again. I don't think it changes his tier placement, but something to consider.

With respect to RTT I believe the commenter was referring to “Rogue Trader Tournament” which is an old Warhammer term for small regular tournaments held in gaming stores and clubs. It’s a terms that has kind of escaped the Warhammer sphere and used for other games although mainly in the US. So essentially they are probably saying you are only speaking from experience as competitive event players of the game and that there is a different “casual” meta which is larger and more relevant to most people. Not saying I agree. Just that I’ve seen that kind of argument a lot before in Warhammer circles. Keep up the great work, enjoy your content a lot!

Great break down! I dont agree with all of your choices but i understand your reasoning. I like to get other perspectives. I recently added Sandman to my spider foes roster. I had read his card and played him a few times and decided he wasn't good. But after talking with Huggeybear he convinced me to give him another shot. After having several games with him I can say he is actually pretty good, difficult to use but very effective. In the end if the day getting others' perspectives will make you better. Just by making you think about the game more if not experimenting with a model that you had decided wasn't for you, will make you better.

Loved watching all 3 parts. Loved the discussion about why X characters is there. IMO D, C and the lower half of B should get buff/adjustments and S should get tweaked or slight nerfs to be on par with the rest of the 3's Said that, Crisis Protocol has some exceptions but overall is one of the most balanced games I ve played (character wise, cause dice will dice)
@eelshark123455 күн бұрын
The one place I really like Red Guardian is in Dark Dimension. Having the power to count blanks is very consistent and he gains bonus power if the leadership damages him. It's also kinda fun to splash him in Hydra and have Zola use that TTC so he gets an extra 2 defense dice.

@@RichMidGaming Ill be honest, Im not sure at this point either. That said, the past 3 weeks you have given me and my buddy a lot of great moments to scream at our computers when we disagree with you, so for entertainment 10/10! Hawkeye rocks. Fury Sr is great. Antman is trash. and I WISH Ms. Marvel were B Tier. She is my favorite comic character and she is very bad, really needs a rework at some point.

9 hours in and well done lads. So another 9+ hours for the fours? Web warriors having three overtuned monsters for so long is amusing and tragic 😅😢 On the other hand, it's a funny thing that Zemo 1 is just so splashed at this point that nerfing him seems like it'd risk effecting/upsetting so many people that AMG are probably afraid to do it 😂

surprisinglky I find myself agreeing with a majority of your placements. I think you were too kind on human torch and he should be in D tier. As for miles, I think a good way of balancing him in the game is to take his model and stat card and jettison it into the stratosphere. I can't wait to see your 4 part 4 threat tier list!
@michaelplant30365 күн бұрын
as most of the time I agree with you 2 I would humbly disagree on two choices I believe that groot was undeserved, I find his stagger spender with a throw and his ability to heal himself and others puts him above many other 3 threats. also the disrespect for the bestest boy lockjaw is outrageous! his ability to move others around and easily generate the power to use his "marked for death lite" makes him very very splashable in my humble opinion thus he should be a teir. thaks for the fire content as usual ❤
@RichMidGaming5 күн бұрын
I agree that Groot, especially when paired with Rocket is good. Great spender, nice builder and the ability to heal himself and others is great, but that has to be tempered with the fact he has 2 energy defence and a slow move. Middle of the road I feel is very fair for him - perfectly balanced character that needs no changes! As for Lockjaw, I think you have to recognise his impact on the game deteriorates as the game goes on - still one of my favourite characters in the game though!
@GothamGuardian125 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t pay much mind to the particularly condescending comments trying to tell you two that you don’t know what you’re talking about. I watch lots of tier lists for everything from MCP to Fire Emblem to TCGs, and I think they’re very helpful for beginners - not because someone can just throw all the S tiers into a roster and see success, but because you: A) Dive into aspects of each character that new players may not realize are worth taking advantage of or are holding the character back. B) Hand them some great splash picks on a silver platter and point out characters who excel all-around. Because that’s really what makes anything good in any meta is versatility. So yeah a veteran player might whine that you didn’t account for their very specific setup built around Crossbones. But a newbie like me plays Gambit, can FEEL that he’s not pulling his weight when I’m not capable of absolutely optimizing his activations, and now I have some context for his faults from seasoned players like you. On the flipside, I know I can splash Zemo just about anywhere and he will do work. And I didn’t realize Miles and Gwen were both so good, or more importantly WHY and how to use them. That’s the good that these videos do for me and others. It’s really not “just your opinions” when some characters lack the consistency that others provide. You have a lot of experience, and your thoughts matter.

Would it be too much if Wasp and Antman only dropped extracts if they take damage from an attack when small?
@loselot60445 күн бұрын
Hell, make it to where they can only hold ONE extract and can't contest points when they go small, still not great but it makes them so much better since you aren't punished for using your character's main gimmick, while also keeping it from being OP
@RichMidGaming4 күн бұрын
I think at the very least, the Ant-Man/Wasp player should be allowed to place the tokens when they drop them...

So my list is essentially every character Rich hates 😂😂😂... I don't agree with ghost spider as an S, she is very good but hard to see splashed anywhere. She does essentially one thing (very well, on the other hand), and is frail as heck. I can't speak as much about Miles, although I play with him each time I play webs. I have the warcaster/vampire general syndrome, and tend to over protect him, so he ends up doesn't shining as much as he should

How is the blob better than gambit? the only thing wrong with gambit is his AC costs too much.
@loselot60445 күн бұрын
As someone who plays with Blob consistently, Blob is very reliable Gambit isn't. What Blob does is consistent and can be popped off almost every single time he's hit, while Gambit only really pops off in rare situations when the stars align
@defenstrator46605 күн бұрын
The Blob can drain actions like mad. Bouncing people away can be brutal. And with four physical, no throw or push on attacks, and his damage resistance, he is a dead solid scenario piece.
