I only recognise Marvel Land as a set of maps in Project X Zone, W was always thinking they'd feature Xmen and alike considering how many Capcom fighters featured Marvel characters, I had no idea it'd be instead from an obscure Nambo game on the Mega Drive

I wouldn't call the controls slippery, the mentioned momentum thing is what can cause you to go flying off of platforms. A simple quick jump stops the momentum. I will go against you here, I DO recommend this game if you love challenge in your game.

If you love challenge I suggest you Gargoyles on Genesis. I was playing a couple of hours ago, the third level and the third boss which game over me was making me rage.

Very good review. Retried this on emulator after playing it back in the 90s on import. I guess I was dazzled by "Mario clone on the Sega" - the bullseye target is Marvel Land's flagpole before the castle of Mario- and anime design back then. But said hit detection and lack of fluid gameplay or powerups found in sonic or Mario itself, I deleted it. Japanese cartridges command silly prices now due to the retro market revival.

I like to think he was Pac-Man circa Pack-Man 2: The New Adventures, where he was basically a complete monster to everyone and their grandma.

No way of recording through PC, I can only work with physical game media at present. If they want to send me a cart I'd be happy to though.

Alright, slow PC? No I don't think it'll be released on cart unfortunately.

Slow PC, old PC, no money to replace it, also no recording program to begin with, and something like OBS instantly crashes it. I can barely run Movie Maker as is.
