Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Looks like a nice fig. Love the body sculpt. Athletic and powerful while retaining much of that classic Black Widow anesthetic. Head sculpts really nice. Articulation looks fun for posing. Props to Hasbro on this one!

Also we've never even seen a classic Angel fig from Hasbro at all, and the only White Tiger they did was the female version, never the original male character. So....Black Widow is far from alone in the "It's about time..." department. 😉

Got this gal on preorder and I am soooo excited to get it. I might still check out my local target and see if they have her in store, but still keep my preorder. I think I favorite head for this is the short hair one, but the long hair without the Peggy bangs is in close second. In my opinion this is best figure of the year and best value for what Marvel Legends are costing nowadays

I'd say this figure is probably one step forward, one step back. They added an outdated articulation piece with the ab crunch and the subpar functioning butterfly joints. She still can't do the splits, doesn't have ball hinge wrists and ankles, toe articulation, and ball peg articulation in the waist. By Marvel Legends standards, it's decent, but by action figure standards as a whole, it's pretty outdated, even compared to GI Joe

$28 is still too high for this. It just has some rudimentary articulation, it might have been impressive for 2010, but definitely not now. These accessories are all tiny and not too impressive (except the heads, those are great). This should just be $15

Not only is this best Black Widow figure, the best female legend, but in my opinion, the best female 6 inch action figure EVER! it is definitely going to be my favorite Marvel Legend of the year. 10 out of 10, SUD rating of DDDDIIIIIEEYYYAAAAAHHHHHAAAA IT’S SO AWESOME!!!! In regards to the right leg, I had the same thing happen with my new Hawkeye. If you pop the leg off you’ll see that there is some missing plastic in the mold that makes it loose. Total defect.

It took them THIS. LONG. To do what lines like Black Series and Lightning collection did on female figures years ago. Hasbro is making figures in the current day, and compared to most other companies, Hasbro is severely outdated. They still haven't figured out proper dumbbell joints, still using waist swivel, still using shin swivel, still using ab crunch. This figure might have been impressive in the ToyBiz days, but it's just so outdated compared to nearly every other line

I got Black Widow just to use as fodder for a custom Baroness, because the GI JOE Classified Baroness is kind of a dud. It doesn’t stand very well and the arms can’t bend more than 60 degrees. Pop the torso on Black Widow, swap the belts and the heads, and get some Cobra decals.

I got her today and I love it. She is absolutely fantastic. I did swap out her hands for G.I. Joe Classified Movie Baroness’ hands. They are a touch larger so she can hold more pistols and both have up and down wrist articulation. I agree about your Sud Rating.
