It may seem odd, but I've been wanting an Aunt May figure. I'm into displaying scenes of Peter Parker at home in the living room, or Daily Bugle getting yelled at buy JJJ. Aunt May would go great with the Miss Lion. Now I want a Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant, and jock Flash Robertson.

I received my figure yesterday. And what can I say is that is super very difficult to pose his tentacles. If I want to move only one of them falls off immediately. I believe the only way is to glued.

I am surprised you were able to get the tentacles attached to your comic Doc Ock because I tried for days on mine without success. It didn't matter how much I heated him up, they would not go more than 2/3rds of the way through on the upper torso and a third of the way in for the lower torso. All that was happening was the peg on the tentacles started to tear apart from constantly trying, so I gave up.

Wheatcakes! Where’s the plate of wheatcakes? They should have given her soft hood skirt for sure. I couldn’t give Aunt May a one. It’s a Spider-Man accessory. I agree on Ock’s shoulders and the stressing of the joint. I would like a carbonized version to see shiny armor. I wished it had ratchet socket in the tentacle connection point. I got him standing with three tentacles. Lots of patience. Chunky Ock is definitely a lot of patience. Definitely the extra hands were needed. Do you wish they did the Iron Man style shoulders? I’m sure Chameleon will come with Peter in next two pack.

I think this set is expensive trash. You did a solid job in your review calling out the flaws. You’re a big Spidey fan so I get why you enjoy the Doc Ock figure. For me as someone who wants better quality I can’t accept this. I’d take Doc at a clearance price but May is worthless, looks nothing like the cartoon or comic book version and she must be able to sit or its 💩

There was a Spider-Man classics Doc Ock from Toybiz with a soft goods lab coat . It was rereleased in the Sinister 6 boxed set . I have it on my Hasbro 2pack Doc Ock with Toybiz tentacles.

I hope the next two pack includes Hydro Man. We are in need of a serious update from the previous version. Give us interchangeable water arms and normal arms along with a splash effect. You can pair him with Felecia Hardy for the civilian figure since she was such a prominent character in the series. Also would be cool to have Black Cat's alter ego

I have been able to get the tentacles to ratchet. When I put mine in there are two positions--one where the tentacle will stay but doesn't ratchet and turns under it's own weight as you showed, but there's a second, deeper seating where it ratchets and doesn't turn under it's own weight. I didn't find the deeper seating until i had the figure for about a week, but i figured out a consistent way to plug them in more deeply. If you push the tentacle in and twist it back and forth as you push the tentacles eventually push in to the ratchets and stop turning under their own weight. If you look into the peg holes you can see the ratchet stops VERY far down in the recess, and they're pretty short, maybe 1/8" to 1/4", but they are there and they do work pretty well once the tentacles are in them. He's MUCH easier to stand on the tentacles once they're fully inserted. My biggest gripe with that is it's extremely non-obvious. I'm not sure most people will figure out how to get the ratchets engaged since the tentacles do plug in and stay at a more shallow level.

I think the backward compatibility prevented Hasbro from putting ratchets the new tentacles since the old Doc Ock has round holes. But then again, I wouldn't surprised if this is an actual oversight on their part. So stupid of them to give Aunt May fists. They are greedy and want to save money but then do something like this. Looking forward to your Target Black Widow review! PS would be great if there is a meme of Aunt May next to a Budweiser.

I think it would’ve been better if they ditched Aunt May and just focused on Doc Ock and they could’ve still charged the same price. Give us the ratchets so the tentacles could stay in place give more options for the pincers give us the trench coat paint the lines in gives us extra hands extra head sculpts. With all that they probably could’ve charged a little but more and it would’ve been alright in my opinion.

I got this 2 pack, and I love Aunt May, but Doc Ock is the winner for me!!! I’m hoping for a younger Vulture, Chameleon from this show as well and Peter Parker and Uncle Ben, Morbius, Blade, Punisher, Tombstone, Robbie Benson and Alistair Smythe!!! Love this ock definetly another favorite figure in collection, May is fine but.....of course we all know he is the star of this 2pack. More curious how GG and MJ will turn out. Cause I really need a good green goblin in my collection and the previous 2 didn't deliver to me at all. So TAS will be good for now, Still will be waiting for perfect comic book one tho. But one IMPORTANT question.... when you heat the holes on the 2pack one will older tentacles still sit firmly? Because from time to time I would like to exchange these tentacles between ocks. And I'm afraid that if I heat up these holes, the new tentacles will make the holes much bigger, causing the little pins of the older tentacles to start falling out.
