ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

He ain't just a future sentinel though. He's the PERFECT sentinel. He has the special ability to adapt to any mutant power, so destroying him is impossible. In the future it even shows that Nimrod is responsible for a mutant genocide that wiped out nearly every mutant on earth, dubbed the Mutant Massacre. Not even apocalypse managed to bring this thing down. The X Men had to go back in time and prevent Nimrod from ever being made, which was the only way to truly defeat him

Nimrod is the ultimate evolution of sentinels. I believe it goes like: from the standard to the MasterMold to the Mother Mold to Bastion to Nimrod. In HoX and PoX, Dawn of X story line Nimrod is like the "Ultimate BadAzz Villain" MEGA Powerful and a REAL SERIOUS PROBLEM for the Mutants in the Future when they are in a losing war with humans who are merging with "cybernetic" beings in order to combat the uber-powerful Mutant race. If you haven't read HoX/PoX then you aren't doing comics right...lol READ THEM! THEY ARE A-MAAAAZZING!!!

Top notch review. I wish they would have released Nimrod on his own though. I really don't want the other two figures. Maybe Hasbro will give us a deluxe version in the Spring. It's a shame. Nimrod would have looked so cool next to my Eddie Brock Venom. Ebony and Ivory, amigo!

My thoughts having got the set Nimrod is fantastic, big and chunky with some nice accessories. Articulation is good, but the diaphragm joint is weak and reminds me of a MOTU figure's waist. Of course given that I best remember him having like 2 points of articulation, anything else is a bonus. Still wish he was a standalone deluxe. Psylocke is very good. Nice face sculpt, standard female articulation and nice to see something that isn't a purple swimsuit. The effects are a mixed back, they aren't as transparent as I would like and the Psychic knife looks like it is made of the same ooze as Prof X's effect. Fathomex is very poor. Super stiff cape and straps means he is hard to pose and it is nearly impossible to holster his guns. The elbows are also really thin, I fear I could break them. Luckily given the complete price I paid, it technically counts as a free figure. Again, this would have been better if Nimrod was a standalone and the others were maybe in a two pack. But I still like this set. I wanted a Nimrod for years and I'm overall happy with him; I needed an updated Psylocke so this feels that hole and as I said Fathomex is poor.
