I'm partly excited for half of that pack. I'm convinced that they put Negasonic in with Deadpool because it wouldn't sell as well on its own. What's just as bothersome is that Deadpool appears to have those laser blaster looking guns, instead of you know....actual guns. They've given figures decent looking weapons that resemble firearms before, so I don't get what the problem is here.

On one hand, part of me thinks these sorts of “wacky” / alternate versions of characters is kind of a waste...but on ther other hand, I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be hyped for a bombastic bag man spider-man or a farmer Thanos.

I am one of the Official Seven People Who REALLY Don't Care About Deadpool (there's one of us on each continent), so it probably goes without saying that I don't care for so much vinyl being devoted to Wade Wilson. Having said what could've gone unsaid; I am a HUGE fan of pirates (especially dread pirates: looking at you Wesley 😉), of Talk Like A Pirate Day, and pirate booty jokes. So, now I own EXACTLY two Deadpool collectibles: Funko's Dorbz Pirate Deadpool (because damn if he ain't adorbzable !) and now this little slice of pirate heaven. Keep up the good work Prime!

Oh man, I really wanted to like this figure. To start, the flintlock pistols in the belt are very off-putting. I think it kills the whole look of the figure having them barely sculpted on the top half, and then just basically flat rectangles on the lower half. I could've looked past the fact that the weapons in his belt don't match the source image, but unfortunately what they put in place of the correct weapons is not appealing whatsoever. I love the concept, vol. 3 of Deadpool is my favorite Deadpool series and I don't mind seeing these oddball figures. I just feel that the love and the effort wasn't there on this figure, and Hasbro missed the mark with producing a quality release. I like seeing the new sculpted pieces, but why just stop putting in effort halfway through making the figure? Another thing that just irks me about this figure is how much solid red he is, especially on the lower half of the body. Some black on his legs really would've helped this guy out. Of course, there's plenty of disappointment when it comes to the paint apps on this figure, but that is what sticks out to me the most. Little things like the black glove missing paint, black glossy plastic for the polish sausages on his belt, and no real detail on anything besides his hat deco all just scream "low effort" to me. I don't know how much could be considered "oversights" or just lazy designing overall, but I feel that there's several small things that could've taken this figure from the meh/barely passable level, and made it a standout figure in the wave. Another thing that kills me with this is that his wrists don't hinge the correct way. With this character in particular wielding swords and guns, his wrists should be articulated to move up and down, not side to side. I think the most disappointing aspect of this being such a weak release is that we may not see a Pirate Deadpool again for some time, if not ever. I'm not so sure that I'd be okay with this guy occupying shelf space with the way he is out of the package. In my opinion, he'd require a serious overhaul to deserve a place among my Deadpool collection. He would've been great doing a Captain Morgan pose, like how he is on the cover of issue 14 vol. 3, but sadly I don't think this figure would do it justice.

Just left target and already people broke into the sunspot figure, stole the BAF part along with sunspot himself. They replaced him with a songbird body with a killmonger head and a thanos arm how disgusting. I surely told a manager about that. Anyway, would have preferred a sentinel X or vertigo figure instead of another DP.

I think it's weird how many people are more or less claiming this figure isn't needed... we get about 2 deadpools every 3 months that are more or less a straight repaint of the boring ass look that is typical deadpool. just blue, or black or miami vice... nobody is asking for that, wacky is good. Pirate is good, people want something different, and creating parts that can be used for other figures is also good. I have zero desire for an X-factor Deadpool or a blue deadpool, and about the only good thing out of the yellow deadpool was the Madcap head sculpt so I can make my own Madcap. This on the other hand is a fun looking figure that will stand out on the shelf, and isn't about completing some obscure team that existed for 5 issues or whatever is the appeal for the other deadpool figures. I just need one Deadpool, classic original design, adding the madcap head was nice, and this was nice.... every other deadpool that has come out has only gotten my money if they met a baf goal. sorry for the rant, just thought it was weird how many reviewers are bagging on this figure, while loving the useless x-factor or blue deadpool figure that nobody is asking for.

Hilarious review. Its a nice figure. I think his guns are actually called flint lock pistols, muskets are rifles, they might be called both? Not sure ,but I do know those are flint lock pistols. Not trying to be the "asshole grammar corrector " or nothing. Enjoyed the show, thought it was great, I got the cygor by mcfarlane, didnt see the shark,but did see the snake and dinosaur. So I'll be on the lookout, looked cool.

On the one hand whilst I'm personally not interested in this figure it still looks great compared to the art it was based on, but to me figures like this I think are made to appeal to people who don't often collect Marvel Legends, I think of this figure appealing to someone who's into Funko Pops or just more cartoony versions of characters, and that's not to say that there's anything wrong with that, but I imagine those kinds of people will be more interested in a Deadpool figure like this than say the X-Men Deadpool.

The limited articulation on this one is hella frustrating. Basically you can get him into one good pose and leave him frozen like that. The Blue Deadpool is a hundred times more fun than the Pirate version, which surprises me, but there it is.

its a cool figure, but i am really disappointed by how much the weird skirt thing hinders his leg articulation, it's just really not that fun to mess with. i mean, it's starting to grow on me, but i do think i should've grabbed that blue and yellow x men deadpool when i was at walmart. especially considering that this was my first deadpool figure, i am not that impressed.
