We also need a Coal Tiger figure aka Black panther figure and a 2.0 Brother voodoo, 2.0 Blue marvel figure helmeted version figure, 2.0 colossus figure . Plus we need more civilian marvel characters such as Donald Blake, Steve Rodgers, Tchalla , Tony stark, Peter Rusputain etc.

6:44 Ultron hands. They should've included the rest of the hands because they have the lines on the fingers like animated Prowler had. 9:15 I'm digging the purple, but I think the green and yellow on the previous figure are more accurate to the show. He also didn't have that thick of a border around his chest logo.

I have the previous Lizard wave Prowler, so I though I didn't really need this, but he has more new than I originally thought, like I thought it was just the new pinless limbs from Strucker on Spider UK, but that torso, while similar, is definitely new, has different cloth wrinkles. I also just like the brighter colors better. I had been using the Spiderverse Aaron Davis Prowler with my Spidey Setup, but given Spiderverse, I can definitely have Hobie Brown Prowler and Aaron Davis Prowler together.

This new one is vastly superior not just because of the pinless joints, but also because of the cape. I hate the cape on the older one as it never stays in place, the ring at the top of the cape doesn't actually sit on his body, rather it lifts above it. It also helps that the cape on this version is more accurate to the Romita Sr version of Prowler compared to the one Hasbro originally gave us. Oh, and to answer your question, the black around the mouth area of the mask was how Romita drew him in his second appearance. The only thing that was different is the green symbol on his chest went all of the way down his stomach. EDIT: The one I got today was my preorder. I didn't even expect him to be shipping until the summer.

Looking at the images most of the time that mark in the face is just a very pronounced shadow but it shapes the face so much and also makes it that the mask look less Deadpool-ish

I prefer the older Prowler, but the came design is better on the new one, plus its pinless and has a maskless headsculpt

Imo the reason why so many retro lime figures are not animated series accurate is cause hasbro is trying to appease both comic and animated series collectors. Guys like Shocker, Rhino, Lizard, Electro, Green Goblin, and Kingpin didn't have much change from their comic appearances so those figures work in both a comic or animated collection. Prowler here also is identical in the comics and series so this works as both a comic or animated figure. However, other characters had extremely specific and changed appearances which are being put in the vhs line. Alistair Smythe, Doc Ock, Morbius, Mary Jane all had redesigns that are iconic to the series. These specific appearances are being put in the VHS line. So the two wanted villains, Chameleon and Vulture, WILL be in the VHS two pack line guaranteed because their costumes are exclusive to the animated series. We're absolutely getting these two in the final two VHS packs this year 100%

Love the review, this is such a bizarre figure. I don't see what they gained by doing a partial new sculpt that's basically identical to the last one, without fixing the many issues with that buck, plus the weird paint line in the cape, the chewed up back of the leg. So odd, anyway another great early vid from MCU Collector 😊
