Even though I don't have this guy in hand, I gotta admit the Shocker looks awesome with the gauntlets on while he is cool, I will get the Retro Spiderman 2099, Gamerverse PS5 Miles Morales Spiderman, Retro Sandman, Morlun for my Into the Spider-verse comic shelf. By the way, the Thunderbolts Shocker came in the Sandman BAF, my favorite is the classic look

I own the first version of Shocker from the Sandman wave... At first I was okay with the way he looked, but now I've grown to not like it so much. I preferably like this new retro wave Shocker better than my old Shocker, so I might put him up for sale to make some room for this one.

100% comic figure. I've never understood the debate whether the retro Spider-Man line is comic or cartoon. All of the figures have used comic designs save for Venom, he's the odd one out. This line has also released comic-only characters and designs like Gwen Stacy, Armored Daredevil, Sandman, Ben Reilly Spider-Man, Cyborg Spider-Man, etc.

So in the 1990s show, he has those lines on his legs and arms sometimes. So this could also be a animated figure. However the belt says otherwise.

This looks way better than the modern Shocker. I wish the lines were drawn in, but the sculpt is nice. I will have to get this figure , and draw in the lines with a gundam marker.

I'm hoping Dorkside gets theirs soon. They sent me all the others from my order, but I guess this one didn't arrive yet. I think a brown wash in the lines would make this version perfect. Just dark enough to give the lines definition.

This figure looks incredible. I've gotten so used to comic figures lacking the budget and which is why we typically get stuff like the lazy Hobgoblin. But I love how much sculpt is specific to only this figure and will never get reused. It's an insight to see the quality hasbro *could* give us with every figure, if they were given the budget to use new sculpts every time, rather than giving repaints on the same molds.

To be fair to the Fox Kids show. A lot of the designs come straight out of the comic with some tweaks to make animation easier. So for me this is a comic shocker. Not because of the stripes. I'd say that more Hasbro trying to make a broader figure. No as always it's the belt. Fox Kids Shocker has a much more detailed belt with a square buckle. Comic Shocker has the V. Line wise. In modern comics, it's quite clearly meant to be a quilted pattern and there is not black line work like Spider-mans webs. So clearly this needs a dark wash vs black linework. I like the modern suit more as an overall costume but the sculpted quilt pattern is superior to the lines being painted on.

Looks incredible. I've always loved the classic Spidey villains. I would just have to give him a darker wash to bring out the quilted padding. Otherwise spot on.

I really this Shocker, more comic accurate and somehow animated series as well, since this is the same suit, even though the colors are a little different. Definitely a little wash color in a darker yellow would have been great to fill the line marks and make them more visible, so maybe not black lines like in the others, but more visible in a darker tone would have been great. Even though, THIS is the Shocker I want. I looooove retro carded figures, and I really really think Hasbro needs to keep up these retro lines, more Spider-man is needed (Animated Dr.Octopus, Chamaleon and Vulture, also Smythe, a red suit Daredevil), X-Men (Banshee, Morph, Shard), Fantastic 4 (Cell shaded Silver Surfer would be awesome, She-Hulk with F4 suit and maybe some Inhumans) and other retro waves based on 90's Toybiz like Ironman (Century, Spider-Woman Julia, Hypnotia which was an exclusive character for the series, Mandarin), Hulk and I would loooove a Generation-X retro wave.

Black Cat is the first animated figure. Her look in the show is exactly like the figure. All the others were loosely based

No he wasn’t lol. He looked almost exactly like this figure. The brown had a more reddish hue, but it was definitely yellow not green.
