Hasbro should really know how to make a double ball peg neck by now. When done right its super effective. They put the ball peg that goes into the neck too deep.

I know it would cost Hasbro to only give all Spidey figures 2 pairs of hands but I think an updated unmasked Ben Reilly head should have been included because most people don't have the 2018 retro carded version, However I do only have the Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man figure and I might get this new comic classic Scarlet Spider too, Overall, Great review on this figure Wade.

Great review, love your background and poses you make. Definitely getting this figure. I think other than the fabric hoodie, i think this marvel legends looks better than the Mafex version, especially when you consider the difference in price.

I think the biggest problem that all companies get wrong about scarlet spider is that the red isn’t all solid, instead it’s a fabric with actual texture. I would of loved to see this incorporated in the scarlet spider figures we get

What you're describing is closer to the insomniac Scarlet Spider suit, now if it was made to fit in with those figures (miles mainly as the advanced suit legends are mid) that would be sick. But this is accurate to his appearance in the comics.

i wish they use Vulcan shoulder and arms to this body mold. Some customizer did it and adds good proportion for this character.

I understand why different people would buy each version but for me, i'm buying ML and not even considering Mafex for a second. The beefier build, the more angular eyes, the molded sweater,, it all looks so good. It completely beats the Mafex in look but, Mafex is slightly better in the articulation, accessories and general feel. Still, I don't think all that stuff is worth 4x more than this still solid Marvel Legend though. Can't wait for your review of Tombstone.

It would be better if it has the hooded head IMO. The unhooded hood with lace should be removable for replacing with the hooded one. But it's an amazing kit in general.

I do think it looks better than the Mafex, and that's not including the QC issues. Heard a few had their legs snapping right out of the box. For that reason I barely touched mine.

@@alstarspass There's a video someone did where the heated the figure to remove the arms, then slid the plastic hoodie off and replaced it with soft goods. You could cut it off, though, if that sounds like too much work.
