Love the Silk character and it is a great figure. Since I am new to collecting Marvel figs, happy to get a Doc Ock too. It was a win win for me, though I understand why some would pass on this. Was surprised when I got mine from amazon last Sunday.

13:39 I know I shouldn’t be commenting this on a 10 month old video but at least now in mid summer 2023 with the new black widow we finally get a female body mold with butterfly shoulders, double jointed pinless limbs, torso diaphragm and lower ab crunch!!! Woo I’m excited.

I can’t wait to get mine. Initially I wasn’t sold on this set even though I don’t own a Doc Ock and already own the Fan Voted Silk, but there was a post on Reddit with Silk’s unmasked head on Quake’s body and I was sold. So Sept 3, I finally pulled the trigger and pre-order mine on Amazon for $55.99. I’m still waiting on a retro card Spider-Man TAS Dr Octopus with the body armor and slimmer body.

I can understand the problems people have with the price, but for me, I see a box set containing 2 figures that go for about $80 each on the secondary market, and I can get them both for $55, that is a huge win. Doc Ock was a huge missing piece in my Spidey Villains, and I'm all about adding Silk to my Spiderverse.

My main gripe with doc ock, apart from him having not wired tentacles and pins, is his lower torso not matching the green of the other parts. Silk figure looks awesome, I bought the two pack just for her 🤣🤣🤣. I may keep doc ock cause I don't have one.

You would think with the price point being $50+ why couldn't Hasbro give the Fans the bendy wires for Doc Ock's Tentacles? That's just being real shady by Hasbro. I have yet to collect a Silk figure and would really like to get one. My only hope is to hopefully get this expensive 2-pak. What are we going to do?🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

Dude, we'll definitely get an animated series Doc Ock. They're doing the entire animated series with the Retro Waves. I say that Doc Ock, carnage, and blade from the Animated series are up next. We'll probably see a scarlet spider suit soon (even though that suit is technically not in the animated series) we will still probably see it on a "retro card." I would fully expect all the villains I'm the show atleast. They went out of their way to do kingpin in the first wave, that's says alot imo.

I like the original doc ock but deep down I really like the silver glasses that the new one has. Do you think I might as well just paint the glasses silver on the original one? I don’t care for silk that’s why I had to ask.

The 4 year gap in Silk's solo series is astonishing. Wish they stayed consistent. Though Marvel comics has been lagging recently. Hopefully they make a comeback.

Don't really know silk so not getting it for her, still a fig I'm happy to have though. Doc ock is crucial for me, the cheapest way to get a good dock

Totally agree they still need to improve articulation on the ladies. Both figures look great. Extra heads and hands for both. Good. All figs should have those. The price is still waaay too high.

I love all of the Silk figures. She's just a fantastic character and makes a great action figure. Unfortunately, toe joints and ANY kind of ab crunch/waist ball (please, no more swivel waists!) are a necessity for any Spider-hero figures. I really hope they figure out a decent solution for these female characters that make them more dynamic.

Yep, this has pretty much been Scalper Bait! I didn't particular need either character but tried when it first went up and it was sold out in the first 5 minutes. Like I said, don't particularly need either figure, so unless it goes down to original price I'm not interested.

I don't understand why hasbro hasn't made yet a doc ock figure from 1995 animated show retro card? And they prefer always to realesed a reused? The one from the show has a lot more masterpiece suit and looks a lot better. Then this one with the big belly 🤦‍♂️

That silk is amazing, the double joint arms, the range of motion, then accessories, the faces, the paint app. That Dr Oct is only good if you don't already have one. They have %0 in relation and just a quick cash grab for hasbro.

Thanks for the video MCU. For those that do not have either character, this would be a very expensive alternative. However, for those fortunate who were able to get these characters when they first came out at their prices back then, this 2 pack does not represent any update or upgrade to the 2 existing already.

The silk figure has a completely new hand/web effect, 2 new heads, and double jointed arms. Doc ock has a new alternate head as well. Not sure what you mean by no updates

Can Hasbro do ab crunch for female figures? Well Power Rangers Lightning Collection and Gi Joe did it. Personally Silk is like super redundant with all the Spider-girls and Spider-women in the Spider-man universe. The figure doesn't really really impress me due to having the needless limitations a lot of female Marvel Legends have.....and it looks like dark mode of MJ's costume. I got it for Doc Ock. But I feel they could have released these separately. Now what would be cool is if they did an MCU Doc Ock with wires that could peg into this Ock.

Only got the pack for ock because he’s selling for 35-40 on eBay so it was better to just get the 2 pack. This is like the 3rd silk which is underwhelming

Your love for Silk based on her Korean heritage just goes to show how important representation matters in media and I'm glad the figure is to your liking! I never followed her exploits, however I plan on going back through her stuff if they're on the MU app. I also never got these characters in ML form previously, so this set was a welcome opportunity. Can't wait to get more female characters on this updated body (particularly Mayday Parker and Black Cat).
