This figure is definitely the best 6” Thanos figure in my opinion. The articulation is good enough (you’re not really gonna want him in super kung fu poses) ,he comes with the Infinity Gauntlet, the paint apps are amazing, and it’s only $20! Especially for someone who doesn’t have a Thanos figure in their collection, this is the best option, much better than the Select Thanos with those wonky body proportions.

Not super kung-fu poses, but this guy dukes it out with Hulk, Silver Surfer, Nova, Star-Lord, and just about every damn character in Marvel Comics, so dynamic poses for this guy is really important to me.

Nexturz the select is overrated. People just like it so much because it was the only Infinity Gauntlet Thanos we had for years and they prefer the bigger size which isn't necessary.

Shartimus, great review! But ya gotta remember man, not all of us order these figures by the wave from BBTS so we may not have the time or money to chase down all the old BAF pieces. I feel like Hasbro is doing a solid to collectors by releasing certain BAFs a few years after thier original run as store exclusives. I appreciated it with Groot, and this is even better with the new head sculpt, infinity gauntlet, and upgraded paint job.

ShartimusPrime less dedicated? I'll have to take issue with that. Time, money, and preference are all factors for some of us. The BAF was based on a modern version that isn't as prominent and personally I was holding out for this release.

And I'm sure you've spent a ton of money aside from that. Just saying that not all of us have the same budget. I'm as dedicated as I can be without living on nothing but ramen noodles and walking to work. I don't begrudge you or anyone else for having more figs than I do. I'm just glad Hasbro is putting these out again, only better!

If hasbro did this constantly with BAF and SDCC exclusives, that would be one thing. But let's face it they won't be releasing Gladiator Hulk, Sandman, Warlock, or Man-Thing as single-card figs anytime soon so for the most part, collectors are rewarded for purchasing a BAF. I do think as long as they provide a decent window for collectors to enjoy their "exclusive" BAF or SDCC fig, its OK to re-release a few as single card figs. Especially in cases like Thanos or Groot where there is no BAF part included so you can skip them if you're happy with the "original" version of the figure. I will say I'm not a big fan of re-releasing SDCC exclusives nearly right away (e.g., Jane Foster Thor or Malekith), but I think after 2-3 years all bets should be off.

Im not a 6 inch Collector, I primarily collect 3.75 Marvel figs, but this was one figure I remember getting from the 6 inch line, came out with the release of Infinity War

I like this thanos way more than the actual BAF thanos we just got. I mean most of the figures In that wave were characters they’ve already made a million times or characters I could give less than a crap about. At most I’d probably get the Spider-Man because I actually really like that suit, so it’s nice we get a thanos you don’t have to pay for other characters to get.

Thanos Butt is Regular Butt but on a Cosmic Scale...man! Thanks for the Walmart Thanos vs Diamond Thanos comparison. Neither gets the Ron Lim art stlye, and THAT is the perfect Thanos in colors and proportions and Stoic Expression imo.

I never had the baf thanos and I hunted and hunted for this and finally got it. I have to say so far it’s the only legends I regret buying. I wish I instead waited for something else or bought the select thanos. Other than holding up his gauntlet I just can’t get him into very many good poises

I just got this thing and I’m not even home yet. But I’m excited to see this baby close up. Edit: The next day since I got home. Had a problem with the other head. Its a tight fit. Takes a some effort to get it in, but it fits. And it takes some effort to turn it. This figure is still cool and it’s the first Walmart exclusive that I’ve ever bought. Definitely recommend picking up this bad boy up at Walmart.

First Thanos. Articulation is pretty limited, but overall I like it a lot! Shoulder piece comes out of its pegs very easily though.
