Glad to see someone point out the terrible proportions. Tired of everyone glazing this monstrosity and ignoring the proportions. To me proportions are one of the most important things about action figures. If you don’t get them right, it’s not a good figure. I can excuse a slightly larger head, slightly long legs, or slightly larger hands, but hasbro did everything wrong with this. He’s built like an old man with an adult diaper

I think when it comes to MCU figures it's a little more excusable because they're supposed to be figures of real people, and real people tend to not have comic book proportions, but yeah Hasbro's comic styled figures are inexcusable

This figure has the hips as wide as the upoer body, its weird because Hasbro tends to put more effort in the MCU figures than the comic ones but even then they still miss ( looking at you Tobey figure)

At this point my biggest gripe isn't even the proportions, it's the lack of an angry face. Wolverine is the last character I want to be stuck with a neutral expression.

I'm not gonna lie, that Hugh Jackman head sculpt is excellent, doesn't feel like it belongs to this figure. I got him just for the head sculpt to swap with the tank top version from 2020 to create his The Wolverine (2013) look (since it's the exact same hairstyle as that film) and boy did it turn out to be astonishing. Sold off rest of the figure.

@@JeffZ1028 Doesn't look like it. If they based the masked head off of the Hugh Jackman sculpt then he'd have the same or a similar kind of beard/stubble pattern between the two. The masked head looks to be solely done off the concept art, and somewhat questionably..

You are correct that this figure looks off, you are incorrect because you are crazy like a fox and your friends and family love you for it, and correct that collectors should not be praising this. Hate to say it but some of those budget bendy figures have better proportions than this body. The unmasked Hugh Jackman head sculpt might be the only redeeming piece of this whole thing.

I saw on reddit a post about your comparison with mafex and ML daredevil. I think people are so used to ML proportions that they think it’s normal. Even the people at hasbro. Everyone basically said the opposite of you, mafex had way too small hands, feet, and head, and it didn’t look human. Like that saying, you can take a horse to the river but cant make him drink 😅

That's the sad part about this figure, you can tell they will make a different one with bare arms. Some people think the arms are like the DC Multiverse or MAFEX because Hasbro is trying to improve, I feel they just did the arms like that so they can easily swap them for their battle damaged/sleeveless version.

Diamond Select looks like they’re going to have the best offering for these figures if you’re going to buy them I would wait for those to come out everyone. They come with pretty much everything you would want with these figures, better paint, better detail. Only issue is they are out of scale with ML

Speaking of the sleeves, if I remember correctly, there isn't any one point in the movie where Wolverine was shown wearing the sleeves WITH the mask. The first time he wore the mask towards the end of the movie, he already has the shoulder pads and the sleeves torn from the body suit. This is why I wonder why Marvel Legends, S.H. Figuarts and even ZD Toys have this Wolverine variant that didn't even existed in the movie.

This figure will sell, because it's Hugh Jackmen in the costume. I'm am looking forward to seeing how other companies handle the costume. For me the yellow blows out the entire figure. Some airbrushed shading would help, but the plastic is not opaque enough. That makes the figures look cheap. It's the same problem I have with JADA Toys Street Fighter figures. Too much light passes through the plastic. It flats the details of the sculpts. Dull coat only does so much.

I expect Wolverine to have the greatest shoulder joints because of what the character is meant to do. And something that has annoyed me to no end on my first (and last) ML is how the shoulder placement never allows for the arms to be straight down in neutral. And why is Power Princess still the better figure in this line? There's probably no true answer to that. On the plus side, with these hips, they got the basis for a yellow-costumed X-23.

Anthonys customs is entertaining. I'm a fairly new collector that started like most. I'm going to get this cool Spider-Man figure and before you know it, you're close to 100 figures in. Like I heard in another review was if you’re looking for the perfect DP&W figure. You’ll have to spend upwards of €300 on a hot toys / pop collectibles figure. ( this isn’t an excuse for hasbro to be messing up tho ). If anything it makes me even more annoyed that we’ve to wait so long for these marvel legends to be released i mean the movie came out in July during summer ??

I may have glazed over if you mentioned it but those shins are also quite rough the black line that wraps around is two different thicknesses and the left boot seems to be fixed on/glued at a weird angle. I thought it was a one off defect but no I had ordered multiples and they're all like that. Weird design choice...

I always thought mafex and 1000 toys did great but I see your videos and see exactly your points on why they drop the ball. The sleeveless version only works if they keep the shoulder pads. Not sure why they ditched the shoulder pads with the sleeves in the movie. (Fingers crossed that maybe they’ll do the brown suit in the form of a **good** figure someday.)
