Finally Morph! Pretty happy with this line up so far, and I hope they give us an all pinless Cyclops now on the Vulcan body! Plus hopefully they can give us a Strikeforce Uncanny #275 team now with this uniform. Banshee, Gambit, Wolverine & Forge could all use the new legs and so could Joseph.

Love this! I wish they made evil morph on one side of the box Art and good morph on the other side of the box Art. That would have been a creative detail. But all in all thankful for this release can’t wait for it to hit the post in North America

I'm excited about seeing Hasbro reuse those legs for a new Jim Lee Cyclops. Imagine a new Retro Jim Lee Cyclops on the Vulcan body with these legs??? The large build of the Vulcan body matches the way Jim Lee drew Cyclops IMO

Can't wait for the figure to add it to my X-men collection but in my opinion Morph creation for X-men animated series to replace Psylocke or Colossus (all though the 2 appearing as guest) due they didn't killed them off or resurrected as evil which kinda worked.

He wasn't made to replace anyone, he was just an updated changeling made to give the series someone to kill off early on.

@@symbiote1982pk yeah I know first of all I know his name was changeling due to copyright issues he was named Morph secondly if you notice the animated series kinda took from the 80 and 90 stories mixed and third the creators could have easily used Psylocke or Colossus all though appeared as guest in some episodes those 2 plus having a very close relationship with Wolverine in the comics which was given to Morph so they could kill him off early and returned minded control by Sinsiter. Anyway the story worked for Morph giving him popularity in the show and finally getting his figure.

Thank you for the review. This is more of what I was hoping for when Hasbro announced the VHS line. I expected all reuse, but with some tweaks to make it more animated accurate, and maybe fix known preexisting issues on the older figure bodies. Started out wanting to complete the entire line for all the boxes, but am just going to pick and choose which ones I get. A lot of these figures just don't feel worth the price to me. Besides, at some point all the other figures already released for the VHS line will probably be rereleased with pin-less joints and elbows to match Morph. Spider-Man and Firestar are being released again in the Amazing Friends 3 pack with pin-less double jointed knees and elbows so it's probably just a matter of time before all the other Marvel Legends figures get the same treatment.

I just got a really good idea, you know what has brown and Marvel left legends should do. They should make 2 different versions of these figures, sell shaded versions and non sell shaded versions for those much like myself who don't like the cell shading, I know there's a lot of people that do which is why I'm suggesting Bing 2 versions of the same figure one with sales shading and 1 without I think that's a good idea. Honestly the exact same figure just painted differently one plane painted and 1 sales shaded painted, I think that would be great. Especially since we have retro line VHS line whatever other lines you can do this too honest truth. Animated series and regular action figures. You could label them the exact figure exact accessories. Everything as it should be just one with and 1 without sell. Shading, and that's with all Marvel legends. Not just X men Spider-Man fantastic 4 Iron Man, incredible Hulk. If we ever get it all of them with or without sell shading. I think that's a really good idea. Then people could choose does. I'm getting sick and tired of the cell shading. And how much work it takes to take that off of the figure without destroying the figure itself again. This is my opinion but I strongly believe in it

Do you not have Forge? A comparison between XTAS Morph, Cyclops and Forge would have been nice. I bought extra Forge for basic X-uniforms. I think I threw an extra Madrox head on one for my Morph? oh, and I thought he was RE-reintroduced in comics, when Cyclops and Magneto were besties with their shared team? College kid started mimicking other faces, anti-mutant hysteria took over and they rescued him? I will say, that Evil!Morph head on AoA body looked great!

Were you wondering if the colors match between Forge, Morph, and Cyclops? If that's what you were curious about, unfortunately there are no two matching blue/yellow X-Men uniformed figures in the ML line. Forge's yellow match the darker yellow used on pre-2019 ML's. But his blue is darker than Warlock Cyclops, yet lighter than love triangle Cyclops. The only other figures I can think of wearing those colors are the 2 pack Havok/Polaris. Blues match love triangle cyclops but they still have the older darker yellow.

Besides, they can do comic book figures and they do animated figures, so why can't they do figures with just regular plane paint again? Take out the sale shading and just keep it regular. Not everybody wants sell shading. Also I would appoint up and not. Everybody puts their figures on a shelf all the time. Either. That's just a collective mindset that everyone does it. Because they don't. I know I don't mind staying at a tote. But they're safe and they're not exposed to anything. So it works perfectly for me again just my opinion

I have this figure and I have to be completely honest. The self shading idea is the dumbest idea that any toy company has ever come up with. Because you don't need it when you have certain light period the cell shading just makes it look terrible. All honesty, you don't need it and there should be a way to remove it. They shouldn't have put it on there in the first place. It might explain why the figures are so freaking high. But it's absolutely ridiculous that they did that figures don't need cell shading because they have light depending on where your light is when you're displaying your figures. The light does the shadowing for you. You don't need it painted in. It looks ridiculous and it was a waste of paint. Honestly and a waste of color I don't know why they did that and I wish they hadn't. They need to stop that otherwise, the figures perfectly fine except I remember more having a much more skinny or head with a wider body. But that's just me

He was not created for the show he was in the original X-Men comics aka the changing he was a villin first but changed good due to he was dying of cancer he post as professor x and lead the X-Men and he got killed the name morph was just created

The legs would be inaccurate for cyclops because his straps were always close to his knees, like the MAFEX one. I’m sure people will overlook it though.

@@LosMSR yea but I was talking about the comics. Jim Lee usually drew those straps very close to the knees. But the MvC2 art for Cyclops had the straps in the middle of the thigh, so the figure will be mostly accurate to that art at least.

What if the new head sculpt they made looked like the character? Compare the figure to the box- it's not even close. What a disappointment.
