NWH is easily saving grace of phase 4, seeing Tobey reprise the role again was a dream come true. I'm just really concerned for Daredevil since they've already treated Kingpin like a joke in Hawkeye, I consider DD to be an absolute masterpiece of superhero television. Incredible show, but I have no faith in how Disney is going to continue it. But I'm glad Charlie's back for the role, he was born for this part.

The first half of No Way Home I do have issues with, mainly Doctor Strange's characterization, but once the other Spider-Men arrive, the writing deals with so many different aspects of these 3 heroes closing all their arcs, it would be an insult not to appreciate the good work. Pre-Endgame I would've had hope for DD...not anymore

If there is one thing Phase 4 is good at at this point is the casting. Seriously the majority of their casting choices are great. Especially: Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Oscar Isaac as Steven/Marc/Jake, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (considering that's her first role), Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop Even some of the upcoming projects seem to have good casting (Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Jameela Jamil as Titania and Mahershala Ali as Blade)

The writers are talentless hacks with no real-world life experience. They don't KNOW hie to write compelling characters/stories; they don't know how to write deep characters. All they can do is take the established heroes we know and love, steal their entire gimmick/power set and embarrassing them by being so much better than them from the beginning. It's the woke hero's journey: there us no struggle or learning period - the struggle is that our strong, independent, female character has always been great but just hasn't gotten the recognition she deserves.

4:55 Okay, but here me out. That “Infinity Cone” gag could’ve worked if executed properly. Imagine some woman tries to boycott the ice cream joint because her husband vanishes during that time he was gone. Then she re-marries only for him to reappear which sends her into a deep depression. It’s established by Endgame and Hawkeye that the “blip” in the eyes of the snapped happens within seconds. Peter tells his story as if it happened in mere moments. What if mr husband was just napping and just ended up getting “snapped” without noticing only to wake up to find some dude balls deep in his wife? Kinda dark but there’s a bit they could do here. Lost opportunity honestly.

The only Phase 4 movie I really liked was Spider-Man: No Way Home it had a great story, it didn’t get involved in political or social conflicts, and it treated our favorite heroes with love and respect ✊🏻 It’s a shame the rest of the phase doesn’t follow that example 😪

Though his grand son was with the "Young Avengers" in the comics. Yet they teased Antione Triplet in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. becoming "The Patriot" which is what the black Captain America is known as, but they'd have to resurrect him to do that. Hell having said that, I'm surprised the Bradley family isn't the MCU yet. Guess that'd be too much "black representation." Gotta keep a lid on this after all.

As a big MCU / Marvel comic fan boy, for many many years I’ve supported Marvel for what they’ve put out, but D.C has that more gritty, mature, dark atmosphere that MCU is lacking, The Batman 2022, is a solid example why MCU is failing. Even Zack Synder Justice League is honestly way more compelling than all of Phase 4. & I’m not even the biggest fan of DC.

Only parts I disagree with is kang and MOM. For me personally, I really enjoyed the end of Loki and it shows how big of a problem kang will be in the future. As for MOM, I think it did what it was supposed to do, introduce the multiverse. Sure the acting and writing wasn’t the best, but it did introduce the multiverse and connected to wandavision, like the first three phases. Otherwise I completely understand every point.

The funny thing is how genuinely bad those two are strictly due to the fact they contradict themselves again and again. Legit the description used by the TVA in the little greeting doesn’t work given how Loki finds Sylvie any change in the timeline any is supposed to disrupt it and inform the TVA so hiding out behind a world ending event wouldn’t matter because it’s supposed to be ANY chance not big changes then by the end it opens up new timelines correct? Yet Kang tells us it’s the multiverse? Timelines and multiverse are two incredibly separate things in any universe but now in the MCU a different timeline also counts for a different universe thanks to MOM they just didn’t have writers or directors link up and now shit is making less and less sense as we go further if they don’t set hard rules about Time Travel and Universe because by logic Cap going back and not leaving the stones? Makes him an anachronism that has to be wiped out yet instead he’s chosen to jump universes to Sam Wilson a shield and nothing happens to him? Do you see where their own logic is starting to crack?

IMO, recasting was a good ideea when MCU was relatively small, in phase 1 and 2, but in in phase 4, when Marvel is bought by Disney, and is one of the biggest movie studio on the planet. If they did recast Chadwick for the movie it would've been a disaster

Nerd channels didn't even minded the problem and just ignored it and just get hyped, i, as an MCU fan/nerd are worried about every project from phases 5-6, phase 4's downfall may affect the later phases, despite the direction is revealled to us, but phase 4 didn't start out with a direction, i've seen the slate, and it may be the same as phase 4, and nowi'm worried, and also the nostalgia and hype culture, i have a 50/50 relationship with it, no way home, shang-chi are the only projects that were the best, no way home did cameo's justice, and shang-chi made a great origin story, loki did good too but it should focus more on loki's character, moon knight is pretty good, liked oscar isaac's acting, one of his best yet, and also and also invested me, but ms. Marvel didn't, what if...? Got doctor strange's episode right, she-hulk is pretty solid so far, eternals was a flop, black widow is pretty decent, TFATWS is my fav MCU series, but the opinions of others got a point, hawkeye has it's fun bits but it should've focus on hawkeye more as a mentor figure. Phase 4-6 will be worse in the future, and DC will be more successful i guess with their solo seperated projects. This is going to be a bumpy ride for marvel, it's like if your already full on food for dinner and someone made u eat more even though ur full.

I don't understand why so many people on the Social Media are saying NWH was nothing but nostalgia, cameos and fanservice. The best scenes of the movie are not fanservice and everything that happened was integral to the plot. The only cameos in NWH are Daredevil and Venom. Tobey, Andrew and the villains are not cameos. They are integral to the story. Tobey and Andrew were supportive characters to Tom's Spidey. And as well addressed the problems people had with Tom's spidey.

I liked Shang Chi, MoM, and obviously No Way Home. Black Widow wasn't terrible but just came a little too late. I have hope for She Hulk (and hopefully they considered the error of their ways) because I think DD may actually play a bigger part than advertised. BP 2, can't wait..in terms of phase 4, I'm willing to believe it will be the standout and I'm glad they did not recast.. Everything else, bleh!

I agree with 95% of what you say in the video. I don't believe Thanos and Red Skull had 2 different actors playing them in the MCU. Also at least the one thing in the trailer where the She-Hulk threw the boulder, she had to use more effort to throw it than the Hulk did. That said, she is more nimble than him, and we'll see how the rest of that scene plays out when the show comes out tomorrow. I was personally done with seeing everything (but I'll see some things) in the MCU after Ms Marvel, and that show was just after Hawkeye, which also wasn't that good. So I'm definitely skipping a number of future Disney+ shows from now on, like Echo and Iron Heart. I'll watch the first episode of Agatha because I actually liked the actress who played her (the character) but if it's bad in the first episode I won't watch further.

Red Skull has been portrayed by two different actors. In Captain America:The First Avenger, he was played by Hugo Weaving, of course. But Weaving pretty much wanted nothing to do with the character afterwards, so for Infinity War and Endgame, the Red Skull was played by Ross Marquand (I think I'm spelling the last name right)

Not to familiar with Taskmaster as a character to be honest, beyond the fact that they gender swapped him and the one portrayed in the film barely had a character. "Female Hawkeye" was an annoying character, so no, I didn't enjoy that. Me personally I didn't care so much about the Jane Foster Thor, as I did about the fact that they turned Thor himself into a joke and undid his character arc from previous films. I understand the issues with Multiverse Of Madness, though I still enjoyed the film. (The eventual fix for Chavez's powers of "you were actually controlling them the whole time" was bullshit). Agatha Harkness was an interesting character and I like Katherine Hahn, so I guess I'm kind of looking forward to House Of Harkness She-Hulk is of the same issue as Ms. Marvel, in that I don't care for the character, so I was never planning to watch it, the trailers and other things I've seen online showing it to be practically nothing but the toxic femininity message only reinforced that. I quite enjoyed Moon Knight. I have no opinions on whats happening with Black Panther 2 or Iron Heart was it? For the female Iron Man? as I've seen nothing about them to make that judgement. Sorry for the long reply, I hope I touched on everything. My issue was that you put everyone into two groups: either they liked nothing of Phase 4, or they were all in because woo hoo, we got "ThE MesSaGe" and our woke bullshit!, not accounting for any middle ground where maybe some people watched and enjoyed some things while not enjoying others, as with any movie. This was of course further reinforced by your second comment assuming that I had not only seen *all* of Phase 4, but that I was one of those "all in on the diversity types"

The fact that there is a "middle ground" to something that before was a "fanatically adored behemoth" means there was a big drop in quality. You're response is actually a good example: Before, the only 2 movies (out of like 25) that people really had any beef with were boring THOR 2 and liberties taken with Iron Man 3. (ham fisted CapMrvl doesn't count). So like 90% or 95% of it people got visibly excited about. ...NOW of the things you just listed you were positive-ish for about 20% of it, if that. That excitement is gone now. THAT was my point. The themes and messages they are prioritizing now are the cause, and with who they added and "new guidelines", it's not fixable. Even if they bring in Xmen and F4 it's not gonna matter bc they are "this era's woak version" of them. If you can enjoy it, I think that's great, I'm not knocking you. Eternity was the worst because not only did Thor know about it, he made the only weapon capable of reaching it when they were most in need in Infinity War. He could've just gone to eternity and wished Thanos' army out of existence

My biggest disappointment for Phase 4 was Moon Knight and What If? Two shows in my eyes that bad soooo much potential to be so cool. The Moon Knight comics are so cool and his stories are so different from one another…and What If? was just so not ambitious enough. I felt every time an episode got slightly interesting…the episode would end

You say objective but literally don’t show the scene of the Hulk throwing the rock into space. In fact the first time he throws the boulder he’s barely trying and damn near flicks it, yet you took this out of context to make this video, along with other points in the video. This seems a bit biased to me. I do agree that phase 1-3 were better but I don’t think phase 4 is as bad as you’re making it seem.

Falcon is Captain America. The show is trash but he's Cap now. So calling him token for taking up the mantle comes off as racist. The point you tried to make isn't really even a point. A character got upgraded from sidekick to lead. How tf does that make him token? Kinda sounds like anything dealing with women or brown people, you take issue with it. Example. In Thor Ragnarok, what you claim She-Hulk is doing to The Hulk was already done by Thor. And that was the Savage Hulk. This is smart Hulk and he's fucking terrible... so yes. So to upgrade from sidekick to lead, the only way is to take up someone else's mantle? Not keep his own and have the writers explore his character more pushing him to the forefront as Falcon, eventually to lead the Avengers as Falcon...okay I am black man that grew up in a house of women in West Africa fyi Thor Ragnarok...the movie where Hulk fought Surtur? was an undefeated gladiator on Saakar? the same Hulk who fought Hela's dog Fenris...okay Smart Hulk who helped stabilize time travel & snapped back everyone, losing Natasha & sacrificing his arm in the process, also fighting in the final war...okay Hulk was "emasculated" in Endgame, but not disrespected...hmm Do better, really thought you did something there huh...
