I once heard someone say, "The public is an ass!" The people of the USA in Marvel Comics are some of the most ungrateful, shortsighted people in fiction, easily swayed by evil, charismatic people, holding onto racism like a high-minded ideal and conveniently forgetting their own misdeeds when they talk down to others. While this is just a comic, it is an example of how woefully shortsighted people can be, caring only about what's in front of them and not caring about the long-term consequences.

Tony Stark thought he was doing the right thing by supporting the Superhuman Registration Act, and yet he made things worse for the superhero community by cloning a god, convincing Spider-Man to reveal his secret identity, recruiting Supervillains to hunt down the heroes, was responsible for the death of Goliath, and he almost started a war with Atlantis. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Iron Man isn't that good of a saint.

This motion comic was great to watch. Personally, I prefer the MCU adaptation of the Civil War event, but this was fun. Great job and I hope you do more comic dubs. Also, the voice actor of Black Panther sounds almost like Chadwick Boseman, so good job there. Also, the VAs for Iron Man, Spider-Man, Punisher, Daredevil, Thor, The Thing and Captain America and the villains were all really well done so great job there.

I appreciate it! Both the comic and the MCU had their upsides. The comics involved a lot more characters and plot points, the MCU felt more structured and gave both sides reasons to fight that you can sympathize with. It also ended less abruptly lol There will be more to come soon 🙂

Man, I wish we could at least got a Marvel's Civil War movie in animated form. The live-action adaptation of the story is good but there is so much from the comics that are not in the movie (undesrtandably so due to the amount of heroes in the original comic and actors aren't cheap). Also, the original comic is awesome, not really as good as people hyped it up to be imo as I found many of the characters acting so out of character especially Iron Man but this story will always be one of my favorite and Steve McNiven will always be my favorite comic artist.
