@samurai_byte I don't think Silk will be a main character or if she'll be important at all. I think it was more of an Easter Egg. That would be too many characters to follow, and that becomes a problem. As for the other villains, Chameleon may turn out to be like Mysterio in this game. Doc Ock and Green Goblin hate each other, and there's a potential setup for a betrayal. Carnage could be looking to just cause more Carnage. No reason but to be a uniting factor in the end.

I do have a theory. We’ll still get DLC but it’s only gonna be one, the Carnage story. The other two DLC’s might be canceled because of the hack. It would make sense since the second game is surrounding the symbiotes. Plus we may get some additional updates with the menu & other features. possibly other cut content from the main story. We’ll see.

I don't demand DLC, I let it happen if they (the developers) want it to happen. There's plenty of other things to do outside video games when waiting for content in another game or add-ons for an already released game, plus I'm reminded of a quote in No Way Home, "Expect disappointment and you'll never be disappointed". I've got plenty of other games from the distant past and recent years to replay to pass the time, along with plenty of TV and movies. While it would be cool if there's DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, I'm going to sit back, relax with other stuff until there's confirmation, which reminds me I still have many of the older Spider-Man games to play, I could just do a Spider-Game Marathon, like your Radioactive Replay, though I do wish I had the PS2 version of Spider-Man 3, not that I don't like the Xbox 360 version far from it, I can only dream of playing stuff like that when Retro games sites can only play certain types of game.

Having Carnage in Spider-Man 3 would completely waste the big Green Goblin reveal we've been waiting for because Carnage would just overshadow him either by being a separate villain like how Venom was to Kraven, or Carnage would bond with Norman. The only symbiote related stuff I want to see in Spider-Man 3 is maybe Peter getting the Anti-Venom suit onto Harry with the help of the Fantastic 4. I think that would work since I doubt Norman is stupid enough to test the G-serum on his son. He'd test it on himself, lose control, and leave his son for dead in a pursuit for revenge...

I enjoy your coverage of these games, Evan, but you're using increasingly long run-on sentences to draw the video out where a succinct update covering the lack of any announcements and a list of upcoming gaming events that Insom or Sony are likely to attend would be much more appreciated. You often dance around the point and have fairly wordy and unfocused scripts that almost feel intended to be repetitive in order to justify a full-length runtime. Not saying you fell off or anything, there's not much you can really do during quiet periods like this when there's no reveals to cover, but it does get a little disheartening and meandering to be drawn in with titles that seem set up to imply that there's anything to cover other than "we're still waiting, here's what I said a week or two ago about the PS5 Pro in case you missed it".

Let spider-man 2 go without dlc. They should focus on marvel's Wolverine and make sure it's polished, and I do mean polished. Let carnage be the big bad of Marvel's Spider-Man 3, that way we get maybe red goblin or something crazy like that. I dunno I'm just throw-in stuff out there. But again they should focus just on marvel's wolverine for now because I definitely don't want it rushed like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was, they should've delayed marvel's spider-man 2 for the ps5 pro, that would've made sense because they basically have no games to really show off the power in this machine. It won't happen, Insomniac is creatively bankrupt on story ideas for the DLC. Carnage will either show up in a nothing venom game, or as a one off battle in Spider-Man 3, long after the symbiote crisis is a dead issue. With Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus working together, carnage feels like a half assed attempt to space out content for a 3rd game.

It’s getting annoying at this point Y’all need to let it go it ain’t happening and I don’t really care dlc in this game wouldn’t have worked out anyway since Pete is on break no one would want to play as miles and then people would be complaining about that

My personal take is, that we aren't going to get a DLC because we are going to end up getting a full-on venom game that would tie things up from the second game and lead to Spider-Man 3.
