This “We are Venom” moment didn’t disappoint. I just knew we were gonna get it at some point in the game and having gone through everything before this to that moment was outstanding. Only get chills with certain gaming moments and this one was recently added to that list. Tony Todd’s voice is too good.

Even for a game character , peters tone . It was truly caring for harry , and his fear he would hurt MJ. This story was amazing I wish it was a real movie.

Same it’s tonally, and to a large extent even with the Harry (instead of Eddie Brock) twist, narratively the Venom movie many of us wanted but still have yet to get. I hope Sony is taking notes if they ever attempt to do an MCU venom story

The symbiotes had swirls on their faces but that rock Knull's red swirl. Imagine if the Symbiote God Knull invaded at somepoint in the next game. Norman Osborn uses the Goblin serum on Harry then Knull adds his darkness to the mixture creating a new kind of crazy. Miles and Peter did face Knull in a comic during the King In Black series.

I feel like they're setting the foundations for either a DLC story with Carnage being Knull's herald, or saving that for a VERY DOWN THE ROAD potential Venom spin-off. I can see them making a Venom game where (insert contrived reason bc comic books) the Symbiote survives, and Eddie Brock investigates. Would work well with how Marvel's pushing Venom(Eddie and Dylan Brock currently) to be an Anti-Hero again. Set them in San Fran, rework that Venom segment with some Symbiote tree stuff and I can see an enjoyable spin-off. Maybe in the end have Peter meet Eddie, have Eddie assure that the symbiote is good now. (Could work in how humanity's goodness or even AntiVenom stuff was used to "purify" the Symbiote.) idk man I'm just spitballing

Because Harry's ambitions are more important. Brock wanted to get back at Spider-Man because he blamed him for his own mistakes. Harry wanted to "heal" the world. Venom twisted that goal. And I think that makes for a far more sinister Venom because he doesn't want to kill Spider-Man. He wants Spider-Man to be at his side to basically infect the world with symbiotes.

Depends on which Eddie you're talking about, Spider-Man 3 Eddie was just out for revenge, Tom Hardy's Eddie became one with venom, making them the Lethal Protectors (comedic anti-hero) that we didn't know we needed

It's Peter's fault Venom went monster mode. He provoked him by calling him a thing. Venom was just asking him if he wanted some coffee. He just wanted to hang out with his buddy and drink coffee.

I think it’ll be Mac Gargan. He’s been Venom in the comics before and they set him up in Homecoming. Peter will probably get the black suit in SM4 and fight Scorpion, and then the symbiote will pass onto him.

The comment said Spider-Man 4, not 3, so I was assuming they were talking about the MCU. In the game series, though, if they bring Venom back, I imagine it’ll be Harry again. Or maybe even Flash.
