In this my new video of Marvel's Spider-Man you can see the game scenes where Miles and Peter are defeated by various enemies and suffer major injuries.
This Marvel's Spider-Man peter gets his bones broken vs miles gets his bones broken video is fully played, recorded and edited by me, the video is taken from the ps5 version of Spider-Man Remastered and the ps5 version of Spider-Man Miles Morales .
In this video I show you a comparison between the 2 insomniac games where you can see all the most difficult moments of the two protagonists, who more than once are almost killed by their opponents.
In the first part of the video you can see when peter gets his bones broken in the clash with the sinister six, here Peter has to face Vulture, Scorpion, Electro, Mister Negative, Rhino and also Doctor Octavius, obviously peter comes out defeated and with several broken bones .
Miles also has a first fight where he remedies several hits, after chasing the Tinkerer, Miles decides to face him to stop him but Phin hits him hard and stops only when Spider-Man reveals that he is Miles.
In the second and last part of the video we can see the heaviest fights for both, miles gets his bones broken again by Tinkerer while Peter loses another fight with Doc Ock and is hardly saved by Silver Sable.

Also Peter is physically more powerful than miles when miles isn’t using venom to aid his actions (which is why they made him jump higher and knockout enemies easier without venom) which would also translate to him having higher durability and better pain tolerance in general. I never noticed this until now but when Octavius throws Peter off the rooftop, there’s a small showing of remorse on Octavius’s face because he already knew that Peter was Spider-Man. This scene happened way before the ending of the game. And at the end of the game we find out that Octavius already knew that Peter was Spider-Man. So in a way this scenes was kind of a foreshadow that Octavius already knew Spider-Man’s identity. A subtle detail I never noticed until watching this.

No, for me personally, i like miles's gameplay better, smoother animation, better graphics enhanced in every techinical way but the story was definately better in the original. The whole dock ock, sinister six, mister negative, aunt may deal was better than the Phin stoy. No hate towards that game, i did enjoy it, but the original spider man had a better climax. Also the main problem with a virus being spread for revenge was also perfect. Everything made sense. A lot of people prefer miles's one but I love peter parkers story. (Also soundtrack)

@@void335 yeah in certain cutscenes you will see the damage but as soon as you go back to gameplay the suit is fine. I hope that changes in the sequel. Only time Spiderman got damaged in the cutscene and it remained damage was in the very beginning after fighting Kingpin. I hope they take it to the next step moving forward.

I think Spider-Man and Batman are probably the super heroes that take the most beatings and just walk it off, even despite spidey's healing abilities. Theyre also probably the most emotionally scarred that arent full on antiheroes. But yeh I remember his first run in with sinister 6 and being like.... damn. The bit when he just gets kicked the shit out of by them is so gut wrenching, and I wouldnt be surprised if it brought back trauma of getting bullied, and then the electrocution by electric and the scream.
