It's too blurry on Ghost of Tsushima though, you can also noticed Xess image quality softer than FSR3.1 on Forbidden West, but it isn't as bad as Ghost of Tsushima implementation.

@@tomthomas3499 You can run XeSS in Ghost of Tsushima but reduce blur with sharpening filters. Try installing ReShade and play with SlowSharp, iMMERSE Sharpen and FastSharp effects.

Only good thing about FSR 3.1 is the decoupled frame gen and AA. The FSR upscaling still needs a lot of work.

It works better than XeSS in Ghost of Tsushima. It depends on the game to game basis and the implementation of it.

I LOVE FSR 3.1! Now I can Use AMD Frame Generation with the Intel XeSS 1.3 upscaling. FSR3.1 still is the worst of them all :( I am picky though. I rather play with ray tracing off and 4K Native With Frame gen at 120 fps , than to turn on upscaling at quality and ray tracing on. With the 7900XTX You can do 4k 120 fps with Frame gen on and still have headroom to enable ray tracing reflections and leave the others off. Best of both worlds.

Depends on Implementation Really, in Warthunder Xess on UQ looks better than Native 😂, Im impressed what they did after 2 years being on the Market, Dlss will always be the best, also My brother got 6700xt for 1440p Looks bit trashy even on Quality preset on the other Hand Dlss is so good even Xess is still better in 90% of the time , but downside of Upscalers is that Game devs skips Optimization because of it

FSR 3.1 still looks shity look the buildig blinking still on DLSS it dosn't appear that problem dlss is much sharper and no problems

Couldn't notice much difference dlss from xess, so for this particular game AMD users can get a better quality upscaler without being on the Nvidia platform. Fsr3.1 also has a newly separate file in which the code can be altered to improve quality, so I'm expecting the modders to have fun when it becomes available in the upcoming weeks. Fsr2.2 code was baked into the game, so there wasn't much modders could do with the quality, now is a completely different story.
