What i always found interesting with the OML universe is that the villains pretty much pulled a 'Wanted' move here sans reality reboot (Wiki 'Wanted' to get that reference) and Jeff went into a little more detail on what happened. [As for that continuity error, it can be fixed if: a)Enchantress actually teleported DD and Logan thought he died b)DD did die and that was someone else in his costume in the OML book c) Logan's admits that his memories are a little shaky due to trauma and age and doesn't know if DD survived or not] Loving these vids. :)

What I find interesting is that in the original Mark Millar series, it showed Bucky Barnes as captain America dying before the red skull. The book never actually tells us what happens to Steve Rogers. What if hydra Steve rogers and the red skull orchestrated the overthrow of the superheroes, but Logan never knew about Steve Rogers role? Hydra captain America still exist in the 616 timeline and he knows that Logan comes from an alternative universe where superheroes were overtaken by hydra. If you take the visions that Ulysses had in Civil War II, Logan's apocalyptic future may still happen if Steve Roger has his way. Logan may be doomed to relive his future.

I thought that Daredevil died by the original supervillain attack because in one of the alternate covers for the original Old Man Logan series you can see Daredevil's corpse in this giant hole filled with superhero corpses, and because Daredevil's costume is in Red Skull's trophy room. I thought that the African American Kingpin had just gotten his hands on one of Daredevil's costumes and forced those who betrayed the Kingpin to wear the Daredevil suit in a gladiatorial match against a dinosaur.

Just something I think would be cool as a weekly/monthly video. It would be really interesting to see a top 5 toughest battles of a particular character. Like Wolverine's top 5 toughest fights, whether 1 on 1 or a group and then next month do a top 5 toughest fights of Batman, etc. You could give a little backstory as to why the fight is happening and why it was such a challenging fight for whatever character you chose that month. Steve Rogers should inform Hydra of what happened in the Old Man Logan universe, and take red skulls place in the new Old Man Logan universe, also making everything happen close to how it did in the original Old Man Logan universe but with critical differences like Steve getting found out in the process and Old Man Logan dying/ being stopped in the process also, making a new what if scenario where it will be what if Steve's plan Had have worked, Making a new ongoing series about the New Old Man Logan universe, just a thought that is how I would wright it anyway, so you can have two titles at once with Old Man Logan in them, both with slightly different versions, both with great story potential as you can have him recovering from almost doing the exact same thing as before, and having him recovering from doing the same thing whilst thinking if this is going to happen he may as well be brutal and unalive every villain he can, because he has k worded all his allies twice.

Yes but no one knows Steve is Hydra, it doesn't have to happen soon as Steve is an excellent tactician and will know that the best time to in act this plan is when no one expects it to happen which will be the 1 year or 5 year anniversary of when it happened in the original Old Man Logan universe, or when he creates another event that no one will know he is behind, as they will be focused on that event.

Well keep in mind that he's also mind linked to Jean Grey. But of Steve Rogers has been able to operate all this time without anyone knowing he's a hydra agent, it's entirely possible for him to kill the red skull and initiate the Old Man Logan universe. It's also possible that the Civil War 2 scene of Miles killing Rogers was the start of it all.

The entire point of the villain attack was to all attack at once and overwhelm the heroes, there wouldn't be a second strike. This version has way too many inconsistencies anyways, such as with daredevil and punisher also, I personally wouldn't consider it cannon.

Ok so 3 things: 1. This story was good, fleshing out the old man Logan story world is a great idea. I would like to see how some of the heroes became villains, specifically Hulk. 2. Sooooo HAPPY how they have taken a lot of the rage people had over Caps reveal being part of Hydra and made it into one of the best stories they are churning out right now, I got why people were upset but hope no ones bitching about it anymore. 3. LOGAN AND JEAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN CREEPY/OK depending on how you felt from the start. You have to remember, when they were hinting in the old comics about the connection they had, which ultimately never truly materialised (bar alternate worlds), he would have been close to 100 or more years old. Shes been fighting since she was like 15, its was odd from the start, was always a though of mine when I was reading x-men as a teen (that and Dirty Dancing) and my conclusion.....meh (not meh with dirty dancing though), its too late to complain now, so I just hoped they would get together and get that madness out the way.

I never bought that Mysterio could trick Wolverine into going full beserker mode. His illusions play on special effects trickery that's designed to fool normal human senses. But, as Spiderman's Spidey Sense showed, if you have extrasensory perception you can sniff out his tricks. Wolverine has advanced smell and hearing, is an expert level tracker. He'd know how Sabertooth and all of those villains sound and smell up close. Had Millar chosen Mastermind to do the deed, it would've been more convincing as his illusions target straight to the mind.

Remember, you have to combine all the villains...they were working together, pooling their resources. Mysterio couldn't do it alone, neither could Mastermind, even Mr. Sinister might have some trouble. But together? The heroes had no chance.

I thought when Doom created Battle world,he recreated some of the old universes but not 100% correct. But maybe this is the exact same Logan. Just seemed some of his history was different.

Actually the way I believe it is that, just as it isn't the original kingpin or the original spider-man/woman, those aren't the original Daredevil or Punisher that get chained up and killed. The original Punisher and Daredevil died in the supervillain attack. The two that get chained and killed are just people who took up the title and journeyed into Kingpin Territory with Spider-Woman. Otherwise Matt Murdock and Frank Castle would be upwards of 70-80 years old.

IOUT Ah,i see. That makes sense. There are some weird things with Battleworld though that i wish they had gone more into. Like how he had one Cyclops alive on Battleworld at the sametime the other had arrived from a different universe. I think one day they should go more into how Doom remade the universe and all of that stuff. Also,i hope they explain how Old Man Logan made it into the new universe. It would be funny if when Destiny tried to get Mystique to bring a new Wolverine from another universe to 616,that even though she thought she stopped it,a Wolverine got through and that was Old Man Logan. lol

Roy Latham I think they sort of explained how he got to Earth 616. During battleworld didn't he climb the wall and enter different universes, and then he was stuffed into the zombieland for this reason. He tore a great deal into the zombies and then he met She-Hulk from a universe where she joined the fantastic four. This She-Hulk then fastball specialed Logan out of zombie land and he ended up crashing into the Earth 616 / Earth 1600 hybrid.

Sentry has been dead for awhile, he turned into the evil void. The villains could have either given Deadpool a shit ton of money to fight for them (he's a mercenary, not necessarily a hero) or...Red Skull got Thanos to fight with him? I always harbored the suspicion that if Logan and Hawkeye survived, so did Deadpool. Strange could have been overwhelmed by a host of evil magic users, or could have simply been assassinated by someone like Crossbones or Crossfire. And any villain who gets their hands on some kind of holy weapon can kill Ghost Rider
