It looks like they’re going with…. - Thor never joined the Avengers - Iron Man made Ultron - Ultron’s plan succeeded with transferring to the Vibranium body (aka Vision from Avengers: Age of Ultron) - Once having the mind stone, he started gathering the rest of them, bringing us to this moment.

That Ultron is likely from a different universe, which is why the watcher was surprised by his appearance. He probably killed Thanos and the Avengers for the stones.

As much as I have really liked the darker episodes like Supreme Strange (still my favourite so far), Zombies etc....it was really a nice breath of fresh air to just have a completely fun and silly episode.

We needed some laughter after all this darkness in the last few episodes. I love that so many people came back to voice their part. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Jeff Goldblum, Taika Waititi, even Clancy Brown as Surtur. I loved seeing Loki as a Frost Giant, fianlly. And I think that The Wachter being more and more visible in each episode is maybe hinting to him actually interfering at one point for whatever reason.

@@RafaRodrigues Fair enough, I've done the same thing before as well. This episode was also super funny and it's homage to the classic parents away and throwing a party trope was also pretty enjoyable. Compared to other episodes this one was certainly more campy and that cliffhanger at the end is building up to a multiversal crossover between all of the characters in previous episodes going up against what appears to be a fusion of Ultron and Vision with all the Infinity Stones.

This episode was hella fun - thanks for sharing your reactions :) Didn't make a lot of sense, but after the grimdark of some of the recent ones I was ready for it. There actually was an all-out fight between Carol and Thor in the Captain Marvel comic a couple of years ago, and it went a lot like this one, what with the knocking each other across continents and all. Similar enough that it wouldn't surprise me if the show used it as a starting template. In that fight, Thor was winning until Carol was able to make Mjolnir "disappear", at which point she had the advantage.

Also, Thor and Loki are one of my favorite duos in the MCU, so seeing that they have a good relationship in this universe despite the fact they weren't raised together warms my heart! Tom always refers to Chris as his brother from another mother, so I love that they put that in the script.

My theory is that Ultron-Vision is going to be the season finale villain. Each episode, the Watcher concludes as if he's narrating having seen what happens already - in THIS episode, he does the same thing, but then something strange and unexpected happens and Ultron-Vision arrives. I wonder if that's a subtle hint that The Watcher intends to intervene, since it is some sort of multiversal event.

After the last few episodes dealt with heavier subjects, it was nice to have an episode that was chiller, funnier and where the jokes landed way better in my opinion. That was one of the drawbacks of the zombie episode for me, but the humor fit a Thor centric episode.

This is my favorite episode! Considering Thor's life up to this point, Odin might have preemptively placed the enchantment on it to keep him from being an asshole with it. We see Thor using it a lot, but he doesn't seem to really abuse its power. He doesn't use it as the means to get what he wants...he just has it handy when he does need it. He doesn't really seem like the same kind of Thor that was spoiling for a fight for the sheer glory and acclaim of it. Thor is a straight-up party-boy, and doesn't want to fight anyone (though he'll still throw down). . I think maybe Odin might've slapped that enchantment on there as a safeguard beforehand, to prevent Thor from using it unjustly. . Remember, the whole reason Odin did it in the movie was because Thor ran off to pick a fight nobody wanted picked, and almost started a really fucked up war in the process. In this, Odin was wiser about what to do with Loki, and returned him, probably solidifying peace, which is why Thor and Loki were both largely better off and had a much better relationship. It really stands to reason that Odin would've wanted to put a safety on that thing for Party Thor. . Just imagine if he got totally wasted and someone jacked Mjolnir while he was passed out? Nah...I'm 100% certain Odin enchanted it prior to giving it to Thor at all, in this timeline.

Yeeah ! Thor Vs Marvel ! The beatdown we all wanted to see ever since that cringe interview between Chris and Brie ! Also, anyone here also thinking the pacing of this series is just perfect ? Ep 1 and 2 upbeat, ep3 getting real, ep 4 getting REALLY REAL (probably the most depressing of them all), then 5 being the gloomier, 6 being quite down but getting a kinda upbeat ending, and now this ep 7 being completely lighthearted comedic... before introducing the Big Bad boss that will probably take up the final fight of the 2 last episodes with the assembling of all the remaining main heroes of the season ! They feel all disconnected, but are actually carefully constructed, which kind of reminds me of Game Of Thrones in its heydays ! Massive props to the writers and the director.
