I think time isn’t necessarily linear. The Watcher perceives things like he’s at a library, and reading books. He was reading Party Thor, then he saw other-universe Ultron pop in. Maybe he though, “Huh, a crossover. Let’s see where he came from.” Then he picked up the Ultron book, which he was narrating (as if the events had already happened) before he got to the part where Ultron perceived him. At which point he got scared and slammed the book/window-to-universe closed. As if books crossing over between each other wasn’t unheard of but attempting to physically breach the 4th wall (to enter the library proper) was impossible, and scary. And then Ultron burst out of the bookshelf (possibly implying he had been hopping between books searching for the Watcher for a bit) and started punching the Watcher into (in a literal sense) the books. At the end, the Watcher chose the smallest, most obscure book he could find to hide in. Strange Supreme’s universe had collapsed to the point where it was just that bubble, so maybe it’s like a little notepad, easily overlooked among the full sized books.

@@blandsalsa8796 oh that’s PERFECT! A singular crumpled sheet of paper (possibly one that went through the wash and dryer destroying almost all of it’s contents.) The only thing that remains is the name “Strange Supreme” in super permanent ink. There is no next page. There is no continuation for that universe.

Let's not forget. Thor almost killed Thanos; he just didnt go for the head. Hell, Thanos almost lost to Spider-Man, Ironman, Stranger, and the Guardians. So Ultron Vision beating Thanos is very believable, even with the stones. Why? Because unlike Thor, Ultron went for the head. 🤭

I think the reason Ultron was able to just spliff Thanos and Vision “couldn’t” is that Ultron/Vision has no compunction against killing (or anything else) so the entire power of the stone can be unleashed whereas Jarvis/Vision was not programmed that way and was more reserved.

Personally, I think it came down to reaction time. Had Thanos been faster to activate the Gauntlet, he would have survived and probably won, but Ultron’s Machine mind thought faster and he struck first.

Going back to Thor's vision in the cave about Ultron and the Mind Stone, "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its center is that," which makes sense that this definitely would have happened if Ultron did won, a true glimpse of the Mind Stone's capabilities. But also to see the pure power of Uatu against all Infinity Stones, he is THAT powerful... and badass! This is insane that this is canon too, hoping we get to see references in Multiverse of Madness.

lol, if they did it any justice at all it would just be ridiculous and dumb. He's a True AI, possibly a Seed AI. He thinks faster than literally ANY biological character could act. Probably a cold 100,000x as fast. Only Strange with the time stone, quicksilver or something that replaced their brainstuff with cyberware or extradimensional/wormhole computation could even have actions that affect anything. The ONLY reason they won in Age of Ultron was because his source code was being internally battled by Jarvis' protocols and separately Vision (who had no such problem and access to the Mind stone) burnt out his access to communications outside his own intranet.

If I'm not mistaken, in the What If trailer there was a scene where Ultimate Doctor Strange was talking to Captain Carter and he asked who she was (it was a pretty fast and small part) so it's pretty much confirmed that they will form a new Avengers group with them. I can't wait !

It's the only way to wrap it up that makes sense. Once you've brought in Strange Supreme, you kinda have to bring at least one person in from every other episode or else why did you show us those in the first place? This just stopped being an anthology and became a story-arc show.

Ultron killing Thanos wasn't too easy. Thanos needs to make a fist to engage the stones on his gauntlet* - the Mind Stone is literally a part of Ultron's mind, so could activate it at the speed of thought. Thanos never had a chance unless he had come in with the stones already fired up and ready to go - which he didn't. *established in the movies

So he lost cause Ultron had 0 hesitation and took him by surprise, due to the mind gem Ultron immediatly knew about the stones the second Thanos started stepping in and went straight for him without thinking twice while Thanos literally didnt have time to react, he died while being surprised by what he found on Earth

I got full body chills. The build up to this moment over the series is amazing, I personally as a viewer and most people I would think am comforted when the “narrator” is talking or what not and throughout the whole series the watcher is perceived as indestructible and unreachable so having this moment right after we see ultron destroy and murder all of a universe showing how powerful he is. When I saw ultrons body language shift right when the watcher was in the middle of talking like he usually does, and then speaking directly to him. Amazing. Also “I see you” so scary it’s awesome

We're definitely seeing the majority of the focus characters from previous episodes in the finale, based on the previously released trailers. There was, specifically, an orbital shot like the Avengers one where it showed this ep's Natasha, Captain Carter, Gamora with Thanos's sword, Star-Lord T'Challa, (presumably) Killmonger-Black Panther, and Party Thor (who was also shown in a different clip of the trailer alongside Strange Supreme).

The animation in this show is so well done that I can't complain about the episode length. Nearly every frame is a work of art in itself and the action is as well thought out and choreographed as anything I've seen in live action. If they went for a one hour format it might mean fewer episodes per season or a longer wait between seasons so I'm good with this as is

This was definitely deserving of two or three parter episode for such multiverse breaking story. It was visually stunning, thrilling actions, sometimes scary looking. Also it gives a breathing episode of most under rated hawkeye and black widow to shine even without superhuman powers. This was endgame level threat, should've instead deserve a movie phase for it instead.

Man, this episode... great episode! This one had me glued to the screen, worried and constantly thinking. 🤯 DOCTOR STRANGE absorbed an endless amount of knowledge and information and sacred wisdom to the point he could sense higher entities presence. INFINITY-ULTRON reached a level of A.I. consciousness & awareness to where it figured out that it was in a universe.. of many, thus breaking its fourth wall and seeing all. Strange gathering knowledge, and Infinity-Ultron's awareness and realization that multiple universes exist reminded me also of the genius discovery of the one: HE WHO REMAINS. This is how I think the events went: what we see with the Party Thor episode was The Watcher trying to ignore the universe he saw where Ultron won (not thinking it'd escalate to the level it did because The Watcher has seen many stories where a planet or its solar system was doomed, that one Ultron story was just another tragic story like many others) and so that's why he said [paraphrasing] "This is one of my favorites 😊" because this Party Thor story ended on a happy note and he watched it again for comfort. But with Ultron stepping through the portal at the end is what shocked The Watcher and why he said what he said before the credits hit. This is where we see his reaction that this wasn't supposed to happen. How did someone from another story/universe jump to another one - only The Watcher has this ability and awareness that these realities to us are just stories to The Watcher(s?). Ultron possessing all the Infinity Stones was what broke timelines. Party Thor's planet and story was one of the many (4:30) universes destroyed in Infinity-Ultron's conquest. So then we get the other half of the episode (5:30) where both Watcher and Ultron are aware of each other. Ok cool, this ain't the first time someone has sensed The Watcher watching, Dr. Strange done it once, so The Watcher moved on to another story, the one that as he says, "breaks my heart 😔". Yet, (7:15) Infinity-Ultron pops up again! And the face-to-face interaction and fight starts while the story he was previously watching and tried his best to influence without intereacting unfolds. (10:27) Again Infinity-Ultron calculates the most successful path and finds a way! (12:13) After telling us - or maybe we were hearing/seeing all he was explaining to Dr. Strange this whole time - what lead up to this point, Watcher tags in Doctor Strange (the only other living being outside of the Eternals & Celestials to _know_ The Watcher exists) for some assistance. 🧙🏻‍♂️🔮🪞

This made Ultron a more truly (for lack of a better word) fleshed out and even more terrifying character than he was in that movie. And while I wish they had gotten back James Spader but Ross Marquand does a dead on impression of him. Also I never thought of Uatu as anything other than a watcher but damn he is a hell of a badass. And I looks like we’re gonna get a multiversal Avengers assembled!!!!!

All the episodes that are shown to us in the series do not have to follow a chronology similar to the MCU, because the events of each of them take place in different universes. The universes only adhere to the basic foundation of the chronology of the MCU, but are not obliged to copy the chronology of the sub-frequent 2. The Time Stone Thanos could get by finding it among the ruins of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Ultron staged a nuclear apocalypse across the planet and it was unlikely that the mages of Kamar'Taj had the opportunity to survive it. 3. Regarding the space stone, reality stone, soul stone and power stone, then read the point 1 again 4. The Mind stone is able to cut Thanos in half, and right now I will explain this: Wanda's forces are superior to the Mind stone in energy power, and are also capable of destroying the uru armor of Thanos. This means that the Mind stone is capable of inflicting damage to uru metal with a certain force of impact. 5. Regarding Ego and Guardians of the Galaxy, read point 1 6. Regarding the work of the Stones outside their universe: in the Endgame, the Avengers calmly stole Stones from other timelines and then calmly used them for "Snaping" in their timeline.
