Yeah, but that is not a good thing. In the old days, Disney didn't pay much attention to the villain design. The villians were just some evil people with powers that fit the theme of the movie. But that's all. There was nothing behind it. They always were extremely flat characters with no profile. They were just evil for the sake of it, with no explanation about WHY they are how they are. They had no backstory and no understandable motives. Sure, Agatha was very entertaining as a villain in WandaVision because she was such a fun character. But compared to all the deep emotional topics that the show dealt with, her character was definitely the oddball. That was okay, because her storyline was only a minor part of the show. But now she is getting her own series and if that is supposed to be good, she definitely could use a bit more personality and background. Since I have faith in the MCU skript writers, I'm optimistic that she will get that, but then she wouldn't be like a classic Disney villain anymore.

@@steeez0 Marvel is big, and some people always have to hate the big thing. I dislike Disney, but Marvel has been solid on everything so far (aside from Secret Invasion I didn't like that). MCU shows have all gone for being different and trying some new things and it has been a delight for me. I love the persistent narrative across the MCU without them doing the same formula every single time as I do have varied interests so each show hit well with me for different reasons. But some people just gotta hate, it's pretty much their personality. Hopefully most of them grow out of it.

Horror isn't an inherently unsafe genre. There are lots of kids horror movies especially about witches, multiverse of madness also had a lot of horror elements and was directed by someone known for horror. Wanda vision, while not horror, was a very dark premise, and the part where Agatha was present as a character and not a brainwashed townie was when the illusion broke, there's no way they would have reversed that premise and put Agatha in a 50s sitcom.

No , that is not Wanda’s body. Agatha is trapped within her own mind from what Wanda did in Westview. She’s living out all this stuff in her head in the first two episodes. Things starts to go wrong when Wanda dies because the spell starts to get broken, which is why things start to get eerie in the first two episodes and that’s why Aubrey shows up telling her that she still trapped. Which is a kind of cool detail to show how potent and powerful Wanda’s magic is because it’s still taking affect even after she “died” if she was truly dead, then the spell would be broken 100% but that’s not the case. Agatha still has to fight her way out of the illusion that she’s been trapped in.

Perhaps. Wanda or her soul (if it was her body) may be trapped in the Witches’ Road. And it does seem like it’s pretty much as bad as the Darkhold from what we’ve seen. Unfortunately, the only thing that suggests this would be the hands that were on the tree and how the corpse seemed to be trying to talk to Billy.

That in itself already raises an eyebrow because if she was truly dead, then the spell would have broken entirely, and she wouldn’t be trapped and needing to claw her way out. I think that goes to show that Wanda is extremely powerful that even after “dying” she still really alive and her magic is still taking effect
