good vid but the key thing you forgot to mention before breaking down the fastfly is letting the stick be neutral when activating fastfly. I think that is the probably the part where people have the most trouble with when learning fastfly combos(even myself at some point).

Ok what you need for this combo is called "Unfly". Unlfy is some kind of "status" for your Charakter (Like a power-up). It works like this: When you get hit in such a way, that your charakter will be pushed away BUT the hit dosen't cause a knock down, you will get unfly. (Knock down = your char lands on the ground and has to stand up) Nerly every hit, that pushes your charakter a bit away gives you unlfy. Every air to air normal, HP, launcher and so on. Knockdown example: Magnetos cr. HK

If you have unlfy, you can go into fly-mode, do LK, HK, deactivate flying, HK. You can only attack or block after deactivating Flying, if you have Unfly. IMPORTANT: After you got unfly by getting hit you will lose unly if you do a normaljump. Only use superjump. Search for unly tutorials, which explain unlfy. This is easier to understand. But I hoped this helped a bit.

Nice video very in depth like the final fantasy music! Im still having a tough time calling assist when doing fastfly lk lol its such a pain.. and i use lk mp to get my enemy higher it jsut seems easier to pull off fastfly for me

Got it! I get the unfly when my characters fall stand after an attack, not knocking´em down with the possibility to roll. Ex: an unfinished air combo. Thx dude! I will practice better combos! :)

Thanks for the vid man. Having a lot of trouble with these fast flies, wish I could see someone's hands -_-. Is it a matter of just pure speed? Do you actually let go of the stick to put it in neutral. I feel like I have the dexterity for it, but something is missing.

also hk launcher dann lp ,lk fly jetzt schnell in eine richtung drücken und wieder neutral + atacke und du hast eine fastfly Attacke ... du verkürzt die recovery der Flugaktivierung ... ob du lp oder lk benutzt ist abhnig vo deinem partner und der combo die du drücken willst ..lk ist aber meist besser da es nach unten vorne geht wärend lp nur nach unten trifft .

@Skeeter715 ok this is how it should work after you activate flying you have 2 wait till sent recovers rom this move so you can't combo any move .... but if you press any direction and then go back 2 neutral the game says that you were flying for a bit so that you can press the button most of the time you will do it like this qcb kk upf let the stick go to neutral and press lk ... or 632 kk 9 or 6 or 8 then 5 and lk

@anexr hm if you wiggle the stick you may hit the neutral position of your stick ...if you wiggle like that you can escape holds in st or magntos hypergrave thempest ....but this will make it hard 2 do lk hp+assist or other stuff ..but if it works 4 you great i will test it myself i even heard of an method were you push the assist button to get fastfly but i haven't done this method jet ....

@Spoonuser12: I can't really explain how I input fastfly. I just read that u have to go in neutral and than move the stick. I feel like only moving the stick after activate flying is enough but can't tell. And I often feel like inputing it TOO FAST doesn't work. Try to slow down and see if it works better this way. Because when I input it to fast I sometimes press LK before I activated FF and nothing come out and if u input it not so fast I think you input it clean. Hope this helps

how can i make this combo? (Opponent its on the ground) activate flying - LK - HK - desactivate flying - HK (still in air) - LP - Rocket punch. I dont know how to make another HK after desactivate flying... :/

My problem is getting fast fly to actually work for me. I can't seem to be able to attack after flying, even if I do love, lk, flight, hold forward+lk. Nothing happens after I activate flight and hold forward. I've tried mashing on lk after flight mode too.

As mentioned by others: you have to go to neutral first. I convinced myself of the timing of it by first trying QCB+KK, stay holding back, then spamming LK or LP, which won't come out. This gives you a feel for the fly recovery duration. Then I tried QCB+KK, N, F~(P or K) and got it every time. For me, this was the easiest way to force myself to go through neutral before pressing anything.

Oh yeah: so if you want to use the directional input method discussed above, the timing is the same, except instead of plinking with another button, you use a direction, like F~LP instead of something like HP~LP

Actually doom needs fast fly and he doesnt. -_- it counts as two different infinites...even though its the same one...difference being that one of them is easier than the other. Specially depending if u play on stick or controller

@hannes3d I JUST FOUND OUT ANOTHER SECRET AND ACTUALLY THE BEST WAY TO DO FASTLY WHAT YOU WANT TO DO AS SOON AS YOU FASTFLY LK YOU WANT TO DO DASHING MOTIONS LIKE SIDE TO SIDE REALLY FAST OR UP UP AND AFTER YOU DO THE LK STARTED WORKING FOR ME 100% so instead of doing the one motion and leaving it neutral go ahead and do fast dash motion in an appropriate direction while pressing lk and there it is!! simple!
