For those wondering about the fate of the MvC series, despite popular belief, *Marvel didn't revoke the contract from Capcom.* Had that been the case, Capcom would have taken down every MvC game at the same time. Instead, their contract expired one by one since Capcom didn't renew said contract. Activision were the only ones to have their contract revoked, but even then Marvel & Activision talked things out to get Deadpool back on Steam. Plus, when you consider that Marvel has been referencing the MvC games a lot lately in their cartoons & comics, as well as giving the MvC Universe its own official Earth classification (Earth-30847), it's clear that Marvel is open to the possibility of another MvC game. However, if Capcom were to renew anytime soon (given that they have the funds), it would lack any X-Men or Fantastic Four characters. So no Wolverine, Deadpool, Storm, Magneto, Sentinel, X-23, Phoenix, Doctor Doom, or Super-Skrull. This is because of a blood feud between Marvel Studios & 20th Century Fox. *It isn't a matter of Marvel not being able to use those characters in games, it's that Marvel doesn't want to.* Though in the wake of the failure of Fant4stic, the movie rights may revert to Marvel Studios in the near future. ARIA Just because some find it easy to ignore, doesn't mean others have to like it, dude. Yes, there are ways to pseudo-bypass it. It still doesn't make the lack of skipping intros forgivable when you can skip them in other fighters, which is important when you want to get matches done as quick as possible. A 15 second intro might not seem like much, but when you are at an event, for example and you have to do best of 3, with upwards of 50+ (such as with my local events) that 30 extra seconds per round adds up and it's just tedious when you wanna get to the fight.

Max's situation is clearly different from mine (I have 184 subscribers who aren't even all active daily, and Max is just a juggernaut lol). All I'm saying is that it struck me as a bit awkward that some people feel that they can't sit through a few seconds of intros, and actually get upset about it from what I've seen. Wanting to actually fight is as valid a reason as any (especially for people like Max), but it's not something to verbally lash out at unless you're busy(again, like Max and a bevy of other youtubers) or at a crazy tournament like yours (50 matches that are best of 3? Jeez lol). Also, to note, I meant 10-15 seconds total for both intros, not 10-15 each. Tis only my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt fellow youtuber.

I'm guessing Storm and Sentinel for the trivia question. They're the two kinda out there mutants of the ones featured that returned. Wolverine and Magneto are the more well known X-Men whereas Storm is just Haley Barry and a lot of people might not know what the Sentinels are from. Maybe Wolverine and Sentinel if X-23 was supposed to replace Wolverine at some point in production.

I think the character that was requested by Capcom staff was Akuma. Cause at the time there was this "No clones rule" or something but then Akuma came in and the reason was "It wouldn't be Marvel vs Capcom without him." Seems like a character they would like in Japan and was popular in game, but both are a strange inclusion to this game as they don't really have much to do with what was going on in the comics at the time as far as I know.

I know it's wrong but I can't get into this game like 1 or 2. I miss the MVC announcer too much. I respect that the animations are legit as hell, and the tech, but maan I hope they go back to a more colorful palette style if they come back to this franchise. Not a fan of the art direction in 3. I know this is months old but I haven't watch the ep after this yet so I don't know the trivia answer. I assume it's Sentinel and Magneto. He said early on that since Fox had the X-Men movie license Marvel wasn't to stray away from the focus of those characters. So you had Wolvey and the newcomer X23 (which boggles the mind about why they were including a NEW character that could potentially bring focus to that side of the Marvel) that would make up the X-Men representatives, but the previous series titles considering Sentinel and Magneto as top tier, they probably eased up on the whole Fox license concept and figured they NEEDED to be on the roster cause kids would flip their sheeit otherwise. That's the only explanation I got.

For spider man, you've gotta be as annoying and fast as possible. You've gotta move a lot to make yourself a hard target. For zero, always start by charging his buster by holding down special, it'll help, trust me. His assist aren't the best, but I recommend ryuenjin, so when your enemy switches out, you can get a little damage in. And for Dante, use jam session as your assist, it is really good, and if your playing him last, go for X factor devil trigger and go crazy Hope this helps

Does anyone else only watch Max's Assist Me videos for the technical portions (And skips the rest)? I tried watching Marvel: Origins the other day, and I still couldn't stand the live-action segments. As for MvC3, it was a fun little mess. Was kinda pissed when they announced UMvC3 only months after the release though. On the plus side, EB offered me $30 for my copy of MvC3 toward UMvC3 so I only ended up spending $15 on the next version.
