I feel like that developers that made this collection happen really understand and appreciate the legacy of the series and why fans love the games. I _really_ hope we get a proper Marvel vs Capcom 4 after this and I hope it goes back to what makes the series so fun and over the top. 3 v 3 tag team, a HUGE roster, etc.

Honestly, the art and character design in this game series is spectacular. I wanted to play the game right away so I bought it digitally, but I also wanted to get the comic that comes with the physical copy because I knew the art would be awesome, so I pre-ordered that too.

This series has been one of the most important franchises as to why I love fighting games. I was only 4 years old when I got introduced to the genre with Street Fighter alpha 3 on GBA but within 1-2 years later at a laundry and deli store I saw Arcade machines of Marvel Super heroes vs Street fighter which blew my mind as a kid of these companies crossing over. UMVC3 is one of the few games in my lifetime that I spent more than 100 hours and the announcement of this collection back in June had me screaming and crying at Nintendo NY as it felt like an old friend coming back. Even though I already bought the game digitally, I too pre order a physical copy as I want to support this collection and hope it would lead to a potential new game in the series. Thank you to all the amazing developers that made this crossover series such fun games to play

Thank you very much for making Marvel VS Capcom 2 which is the best crossover fighting game which ever existed until today. I played on arcades when i was fifteen and now i'm 36 playing again and now on Steam. You guys really need to level up the franchise by bringing back the good old and gold 2D fighting era making Marvel VS Capcom 5, 6, 7, etc totally inspired on 2. And if you guys can make Capcom VS SNK 3 on the same style as CvS 2 will be very awesome too! :D

One thing that they didn't mention that I know I'm not the only one who felt this way is that when I first played the games, there were soo many characters from the Capcom side that I didn't know that I wished I could play their original game such as Captain Commando or Hayato. This game makes you want to play those games. I hope they remaster it and put them in Out for this generation as well 🙏

To the developers of Capcom who made this collection possible, I just want to say that you guys have done a great job at bringing these games back to life. With that being said, there is something extremely crucial that must be addressed. This problem pertains to MVC2 and this can potentially turn veteran players away if not addressed. The problem itself is the offline arcade mode. You face off against the same exact characters on the same exact stages every single playthrough. This problem was present with the 2009 release on the 360 and PS3, but the difference this time around is that your opponents NEVER change at all, no matter how many times you play it. I've been playing MVC2 since the Dreamcast, and I have been able to pick apart flaws on every single console version of this game. Anyone who currently owns this fighting collection, play MVC2 arcade mode offline, and I guarantee you your opponents will always be VENOM, CAMMY, & CHARLIE/NASH, and you will always face them on the Carnival stage. Not to mention that the additional stages NEVER show up in Arcade mode either. Hopefully these issues can get addressed soon.

The lack of a versus mode, replays, and the ability to rematch without repicking your entire team is extremely disappointing. This is basic functionality present in all other fighting games; including other Capcom fighting games, and even previous releases of the games included on this collection. The message that Capcom has sent to the players that love and support these games is that you do not care about us. Please add these features to Marvel vs Capcom 2.
