This is no joke one of the most flavorless character rosters I've ever seen in a fighting game You look at Tatsunoko v Capcom or Ultimate MVC3 and you got a large variety f newcomers, fan favorites and wild card characters those games felt ambitious but here it feels there were a lot of really safe and kind of placid choices, ESPECIALLY on Marvel's side. Obviously the Fox/Sony licensing nonsense really hampered this game

TvC was much worse at roster representation compared to Ultimate MvC3. Nobody asked Capcom for a crossover with Tatsunoko, except Japan! The crossover that everyone truly wanted was J-Stars vs. Capcom; just so the Street Fighter icons can finally team up with the Dragon Ball Z icons, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure icons, and the Fist of the North Star icons.

There's just characters from the Disney Marvel movies (Except Ghost Rider) and they removed many of my faves like Deadpool, Vergil and Viewtiful Joe. I'm sure this game is entertaining but I kinda feel 3 is more for my taste Edit: At least they included my girlfriend Morrigan, but I still miss all of the others

It's a pretty solid roster, could just use fewer boring regular dudes. Jill valentine would have been a better pick than Chris, not that many women on the roster and Chris is such a boring standard dude. Frank West... not sure why he is even there. There's far more interesting characters from far more established franchises of Capcom. Having two unshaven dudes with long brown hair and a metal arm seems oddly specific too to double up on. I don't mind there not being X-Men, since it's always the same few we always see in video games. Wolverine and Storm are in so many games that I'd much rather see others get their chance to shine instead and honestly, X-Men should just get their own fighting game since they have more than enough characters and big names to fill a large roster with. If I could add like, a second season pass to this game, I'd probably have gone with: -Jill Valentine. -The Green Goblin. -Captain Commando. -Scarlet Witch. -Lady Dimitrescu. -Doctor Octopus.

It's a pretty crappy lists of characters for a great fighting game franchise. And this included the DLC characters which makes it even worse. I'd expect more characters from Darkstalkers or the X-Men characters.
