it was really really good in this episode! Maybe it was just the 1st episode being a Bucky we hadn't actually seen really that made it feel off (not as far as Erik was saying but not as good as this), while this was literally Infinity War Bucky as we know and love him. I didn't expect something very dark, nor darker than the previous episode, nor did I expect full horror, because it's still a Disney animated series. Still it had some great visuals and horror images. But I think the problem is the type of humor and the moments they use it... A lot of times it's very silly and not that funny, which makes it seem childish, and it doesn't mesh with the gore and zombies. Plus they are constantly telling jokes while all the people, the other heroes and their friends are dying horribly. Anyway, a comedy/horror tone with zombies isn't bad, but how they handled it kind of was... I still liked it, but I didn't expect it to be my least favorite so far....

By far my favorite episode so far but i do agree it could of been a bit longer to really flesh out the story and the moments on tension. Even though it was a dark episode it made me happy to see Bucky able to have the shield so I think it was a missed opportunity to not have a zombie try to bite Bucky's vibranium arm but can't bite through it. Let Marvel Zombies be a spinoff series of this episode

Having read the original marvel zombies, there's a lot of scenes in this episode that almost act like callbacks to the comic. Like how vision was feeding people to wanda, it reminded me of how reed Richards basically went insane in the comics to, and how he infected everyone. Also instead of a headless antman, in the comics it was a headless deadpool. Also T'Challa was zombified in the comics, but basically found a way to subvert the zombification process by not eating

What If...? For an episode that is rife with doom and gloom, the one liners and humor were plentiful throughout this episode. From Happy's "BLAM BLAM BLAM" to Sharon's listed talents (eulogies) to the Harry Potter reference spouted by...um...the glass encased head of Scott Lang donning Strange's cloak, this turned out to be a brilliant episode. So brilliant that I turned on CC so I wouldn't miss any of the dialog. The visuals of the character designs and the animation were again wonderful. What If...? has exceeded my expectations and I salute Marvel for not half-assing this series. I might be in the minority here but this was the best episode yet. The only problem I have is that this wasn't longer. Easily 9/10
