I agree the Marvel Select version doesn’t have good articulation but as the style and accessories the Select Gambit is my favorite. Hoping the future Mezco One 12 Gambit tops all of these 👊🏼

I love the Toybiz gambit. Only complaint is he is a tad short, but if you put him on a flight stand you can't tell and he comes with the jacket and other goodies. Toybiz 4 the win

All the Animated X-Men voices are all I will ever hear when I read an X-Men book. They just can’t be outdone I just found Gambit. He’s the only one I own, but those colorful card effects are hella dope. I wonder if anyone on eBay is selling an accessory similar to that?

IfI had to say, definitely amazing yamaguchi. They have improved their sculpt so now it looks very smooth and not as gapy as the first figures. Great articulation, detail and accesories.

@@ToyShiz Oh definitely get one, is easy their best figure get. Be careful though because some people have broke the coat by moving the peg in the wrong direction without knowing, but other than that is really awesome. And size fits with marvel legends.

It does not. Yamaguchi are so overrated, certainly articulated but aesthetically ugly, full of gaps (like all the yamaguchi crap). That figure it's on his own category and shouldn't be brought on the other figures conversations but to those who likes Yamaguchi. I prefer what he brought here and in the future if Mafex makes their own Gambit, Mafex looks better than Yamaguchi.

I like the new Hasbro one, I definitely don't like how the coat makes the articulation a little hindered. I will definitely be taking the cloth Toy Biz coat and putting it on the new figure. If you haven't checked out the Revoltech figure, I recommend it. He's VERY posable and includes some great effects as well. Great video!

My favorite is the latest Legends Gambit because the body looks the best (in my opinion) but I would prefer if the cards looked more like the Marvel Select figure's. None of the figures' faces look quite like Gambit's but I like the red and black eyes, on the newer Marvel Legends figure. I prefer not to have cloth clothing on any of my figures. It bothers me that the weave of the fabric is always too large for the clothing to sit believably on them. I always have the impression of a mouse dressed by humans or something.

For $20 the ML is the best one imo. Just missing the Revoltech for comparison which is really in a category all it’s own kind of like the Select.

Great comparison video. My favorite character. The new ML version will be arriving in the mail tomorrow, so then I can fully assess which is my favorite, but so far, the revoltech takes it. I have all those Gambit figures as well. As to the Select version, I wouldn't consider it a recent release. Came out 8 years ago in 2011. And as for the "goatee" on your version, I would guess that yours is a re-issue. The original releases had a far more subtle paint shading, giving it its intended 5'oclock shadow appearance. The re-issues Ive seen, all look like yours, with that heavy handed paint application.

I'm surprised that you don't know that Gambit did indeed have stubble on his face in his earlier appearances! Jim Lee often drew him with a stubble goatee in up close panels mostly. My peeve is that no one ever gets the stripe on his leg right, it was originally only on his right thigh!

You can actually pull off the hasbro coat quite easily. Just make the arms go behind him and finesse the coat over the shoulders and arms. The toy biz coat fits really well over the hasbro arms.

I own them all and Amazing Yamaguchi Gambit is the best. Id give second place to Select even though his legs are a bit small and articulation isnt the best but the head is the best gambit head to date, then 3rd to the Hasbro which i actually quite dig, just wish he had double jointed elbows and im not huge on the hair otherwise hed rank higher than Select.

It is not really a goatee, it looks like it because of the mask, but Gambit has the 5 o'clock shadow beard, if you only fallowed the cartoons, I can understand why the complain about the "goatee" or the hair flowing to the side. Those are things straight from the comic specially Jim Lee (creator of Gambit) and are perfectly accurate.
