It's REAL! My dealer said "nothing there" after a test ride on my FXLRS. Oh well, I'll just live with it 'till I need a new tire.
@Cram3804 жыл бұрын
@@FattyMcJason Yeah! Me too but they switch the wheels from another low rider s they had in stock but that vibration was still there and they were saying it probably came from like the pendulum (dont know if that is the correct Word i speak french ahah) in the engine that cause the vibration. So i tried To just cut the engine off at like 65-70 mph and i could still feel the vibration so they finally change the tires for something else then those michelin scorcher! But there is a little vibration between like 45-55 mph but with the new tires its just so much smoother, before that mine was no joke.

As a Harley tech. We've had a few people complain about the front end vibration or "hop" as some people have called it. It's just because of the inverted forks. It's inherent with that design. I haven't heard of that issue on other inverted front end equipped softtails so the reduced rake might have something to do with it as well
@THEREALZENFORCE3 жыл бұрын
Strange claim of yours most modern bikes have inverted forks and only a few have vibrations.

Super solid video man. You went over pretty much everything you possibly could about the bike in stock form, how it rides, handles, power etc and all of your mods since new. Very informative and well done. I’ve done a crap load of research in the last month, and the only thing I took notice of is the rake difference is 28 degrees on the S vs 30 degrees on the standard Low Rider and other Softail models. The Fat Bob also shares the 28 degree rake. Looking forward to your results after the Stage 2 cam upgrade. Did you get a dyno sheet after the Stage 1 tune? if so what did it make?

@oztursen3 жыл бұрын
I test rode this bike yesterday. Now, I cant get over the sound of that engine, especially when it first starts and how smooth and powerful it is at the same time. HD did a fantastic job with the engine and throttle response. No funny herky jerky business when you either downshift or upshift. The only thing I cannot get over is the seating position. I am coming from an adventure bike and I am used to sitting upright and with legs tucked underneath. The position of foot pegs and the weird reach to the handlebars is concerning on this bike. Is that something one gets used to? Other than that, I am ready to pull the trigger.
