@@IronBornRider The only positive culture are the MCs and not everyone is made for that tbh. The rest is all about milking you and be nice to you as long as you pay. I love the bikes, but avoid the rest (clothes, dealerships, "freedom", arrogance, ...). THIS is actual freedom. Freedom does not mean, buying a ripoff jacket for 600-700$ that has "freedom" sticked onto it, like they want you to believe. I truly think that while they are selling you their clothes with a smiling face, they on the same time think that you are the biggest loser for wasting so much money for that harley-premium. The real Gs of bikers have no toxic brand loyalty, because they manage to see the ripoff and they know what that brand used to represent.

I just got my 2021 Low Rider S here in Australia. I enjoyed watching your take on your LRS! One comment which might not apply to let's say California, is here in Oz we can get and under the law be covered by warranty even with a tuner. In my case the tuner is a Maximus Technoresearch. For my riding style I like torque so I went with the S&S SuperStreet 2-1 exhaust that is 50 State legal for 2018-2020 Softail models! CARB EO# K-010-13 (I don't know about CARB & the MY21 LRS). My bike has been Dynojet tuned with just the exhaust and Maximus by my dealer (Australia compliant and legal with the DB noise reducer). When the K&N airc learner arrives from backorder I will not need another dyno run but would expect about 3hp and torque increase. Currently I have 111 torque at 2,700rpm and at least 100 from 2,200 to 4,300rpm. "Only" 87HP at 5,000rpm which gets me around town okay. Again, I enjoyed your review and channel.

Check out the information from DK customs about the tune on the M8 engines! They DO NOT require a tune for a stage 1. The stock tune is good. It is not too lean like the Evo and the Twin Cam engines. The whole point in tuning the bike with a stage 1 is air fuel mixture. The stock tune on an evo or twin cam is too lean for the additional air supplied by a stage 1. Not the case with the M8 platform. They are rich enough from the factory to accommodate the additional airflow provided by a stage 1. DK has multiple videos and reports showing their findings. A tuner will “optimize” your air fuel mixture, but then again a dyno tune will “optimize” even better than a tuner so that’s just quibbling over leftovers really. Where you really “must have” a tuner is with anything beyond a stage 1. Stage 2 and above because you’re changing the timing and everything at that point. But no tune is required for a simple stage 1 on the M8.
@IronBornRider2 жыл бұрын
That's what I understand as well, since Harley already put the high flow air filter it's already "tuned" for it, so adding an exhaust doesn't require a tune.

Enjoyed the video I have the 20 Low Rider S great bike I do enjoy the bike I live in Canada so my bike is in kms 11700 for mileage my ugly for this bike is the brakes rear being mostly non existent been to 2 dealers have been told thats the way they are pretty sad now just last week having to grab a handful of brake as a 4wheeled idiot pulled out in front of me on a 2 lane highway Im doing about 90kph 55 mph any way when I grab the brake hard my whole bike shook like crazy pulled over to chk everything out all good & tight but now my bike has a pulsation when braking took to the local dealer was told my rotors were warped which I kinda figured but the dealer has told Harley will replace the rotors but not the pads so needless to say Im not a happy camper plus having to wait 3 weeks for parts & then to get in for repairs This is totally unacceptable as far as Im concerned That the rotors are warped with so little mileage & then they will only cover certain parts Total BS on Harleys part Anyway just my 2 Cents Other than that great bike Keep Ridin in the Wind

Thank you bother. I hear you. I had a slight bounce/vibration at 40-50mph and knew there was a flat spot on the tire. The bike at the time had only 500 miles. Took it into Harley and they denied the whole thing. Had to go to a indie shop to get it fixed and had to pay out of pocket. It’s complete bs on Harley to say they’re a premium brand and then leave their customers cold like that.

@@IronBornRider Yea pretty sad HD treats their customers like they do especially the price we pay for the bikes from the get go Im seriously thinking of selling my bike but time will tell I will be contacting HD to let them know what I think of their so called warranty Keep Rockin Ridin in the Wind

My 2019 street bob had no rear breaks either. I would mash the pedal and nothing would happen much so i used front brake lever for everything abs was mandatory for these bikes. When purchased i overlooked it because i was always using both brakes when stopping. Long story short i traded and got 2020 low rider s and this has perfect brakes back and front. When buying bikes always test brakes individually especially the rears. On abs since brakes are linked it is easy to overlook individual brake tests.

Good video man!! Nice to have a pro and cons video to look into before a purchase. This will probably help quite a few people! Don't enter me in the drawing, as you know I don't ride a Harley, so it would be wasted on me.

any update on 2021 model tune ? can we get something other than screaming eagle ?
@jittabugwallace748611 ай бұрын
As far as tuners go, stop thinking about plug and play. Most real deal shops who have dyno's will have the licensing to get through those locks in the ecu. And you get a more thorough tune specific to your bike and upgrades. A tune is not one size fits all. And not all motors come factory with the same numbers. There are differences between 2 of the same.

I’ve bought new quads new bikes and new cars I was always told if anything is done it voids warranty, but I’ve never tested it I know dealership management loves to push any work thrown their way, I’m about to buy a 23 I’ve been trying to watch read listen to anything pertaining to the 23 low rider even, it’s good to know how it got to what it is
