I love Adelaide airport! I am going to Hong Kong next week. I will not mention the 'proxxxxx'. I have never flown on Malaysian Airlines. I find that Josh Cahill had been too picky in his review for Malaysia Airlines, I've flown their A350 to London, it's different from what he said. Who knows maybe he couldn't get upgrade to business class, then made a bad comment! I don't trust him at all.

I like your "sound proof " test method in the Qantas Lounge !! Were your nuts warm ?? Great to hear the Captain give a very comprehensive run down on the flight !! Good man...a glass of Red with Breakfast !! Yes the good Dr as PM is getting on...he rides his bike every day and he waved to me on my last visit to KL !! I was standing outside Traders Hotel in KLCC when all these Police cars and Motor cycles appeared with sirens and flashing lights and a black Mercedes S 600 went past me very slowly and I just waved and the man in the back seat waved back !! The Concierge started to laugh..I said whats so funny....he said that was the Prime Minister of Malaysia!! My last 3 International flights have been with Malaysian and I rate them among the best. Their Satay service in Business Class is outstanding and their cabin crew are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. I will share with you a funny story. I live in Melbourne Australia and was talking to 2 of the cabin crew in the galley. I asked where they stay when in Melbourne and they told me they don't like the hotel as it is "haunted". When I asked where it was it turned out it was close to where I live. I then told them the Hotel and Apartments are built on the site of a former Hospital....you should have seen the look on their faces. This happened on at least 2 flights with the crew !! Looking forward to next Thursday !!

The captain did speak very clear and gave us a lot information about the flight which we always appreciate👍🏻I was asking for tea, no tea for that moment so orange juice, but I wanted something a little bit more in value so red hehe. Wow for me it would've been a honour that the PM waved at me!! He seems like a very friendly guy? I haven't heard him much on the media, but from what I read on that inflight magazine, he seems to be a very chill and cool PM. I always love the MH crew, they are very energetic and genuine. Wow haha I guess the hotel is really haunted then😝Next Thursday will on be Thai Airways :)

The A330-300 looks quite good in comparison to their dreadful A330-200 they operate to Auckland. The A332 is an ex Air Berlin aircraft so an LCC configuration. Flew MH roundtrip to Tokyo in late September and MH really are getting their mojo back. So good to see the crews happy and engaged after the last few years. Folks, I have no reservations in recommending MH.

Thank you so much Lucas! It never cut Adelaide but the frequency went from daily to 5 times weekly. It surprisingly cut Brisbane but they brought it back not long ago :D

Jayden, is this Eco+ on this flight is bookable same as e.g. premium eco on CX or SQ are do they sell those seats only as an upgrade after you have purchased an economy class ticket, similar to US carriers?

Hi Jens, eco+ seats can be selected after you’ve purchased an eco ticket so similar to the US carriers :) It’s not officially free for frequent flyers but some ground staff try their best to upgrade them. I flew MH73 A330 last year, I asked if I could get the seat for free but they gave it to me! Only 5 pax in that cabin 😄 Thanks Jens!

I had a such bad experience with Malaysia airlines when I flew them from MNL to KL. The flight attendant that served us was rude. I am willing to fly them again and give them another chance though.

it's partially missing, you have to lean forward to be able to look outside. That could be taken up by the person in row 9 when they recline but during takeoff and landing, it's yours :)
